Show me where they said we would get TTK exclusives when RoI comes out. You can't, because they never did. They said they will remain exclusive for AT LEAST through 2016. Does it suck the time was extended? Yes. Did Bungie/Activision lie? No.

So you think it sucks the time was extended but your post is strongly about how they never stated when it would come over to xbox? What?
-
Yes. They said we wouldn't get it until at least 2016. They never said we would at any time. Now they've extended it saying we won't get it until at least 2017. Which sucks, yes. Make sense?
-
Are you dim? He realizes the truth sucks but he understands that it's just that: the truth. How is that hard for you to grasp?

Edited by Church100: 8/17/2016 5:26:26 PMDoesn't surprise me that his post makes sense to you. If they've never stated WHEN the items would come over, then the time could hardly have been EXTENDED, could it? Basic logic still too much of a stretch for you, huh?

Edited by xNyasha: 8/17/2016 5:36:06 PMActually, they stated it would be "at least through 2016". Exclusives and content work like that all the time in multiple games. I'm sorry you clearly haven't moved up from elementary-level comprehension skills. Can't explain what should have already been concluded.
-
'At least through 2016'? Link please
-
Oh sorry. It appears it was "at least Fall 2017". My mistake. I guess that goes back to when you mentioned there was no specific date or period. Apparently, there is.

I agree that technically they didn't lie (i guess its a bit difficult to find a lie from a company that seems to ignore a lot of the playerbase's major concerns/queries in favour of whatever easier point they want to feature in their updates etc). Point is, things are a bit more straight-forward for you guys on ps, they say when you'll get the exclusives and that's that. For xbox we've basically been given no direction and for the most part have had to almost decipher what they mean by 'timed exclusives'. In the early stages of the game, i remember a lot of players' surprise at the exclusives being for a whole year. Those that made their peace with it, reasonably (it could be argued), assumed 'ok so the exclusives are for a year and we get them at the end of the year, that's fine'. But now, with them changing 2016 to 2017, its thrown that out the window. This whole thread, and most of the angry support just stems from us being left completely in the dark. If they had said, some exclusives will be a year, some will be for 2 then at least we would know and that'd be fine. But sneaking it in, by changing a date in the small print of a playstation page is pretty shitty, don't you think? Its that approach that leads to threads like this unfortunately. Sorry for the mass text but its hard to explain it any simpler.

I completely get it. Though there would probably still be outrage either way, they should point out the exact time it will take for the exclusives to release on Xbox.
-
It would be useful, definitely. Of course there'd be outrage, some people just aren't reasonable, but the wall of silence infuriates even the reasonable ones too.
-
Which was changed from 'at least Fall 2016' which effectively covers 2017 onwards already, until bungie decide to release it to xbox, so the time hasn't been extended. So his post argues against itself.
-
Alright. I get what you're saying now. It just makes it better for some people to understand, I guess, since the mere mention of a specific period means there is some general understanding of that being a necessary release date. It's all interesting wording related to business. Sorry about that, man.
