Great. Just great. I was initially upset to learn ROI was getting new PS exclusives that would be rendered obsolete since Destiny 2 would be launching by the time they arrived. Now I learn that I won't be able to spend any quality time with my Jade Rabbit? Sublime Engram armor? The elegant Azoth Bend armor set?
No. Absolutely unacceptable. This has to stop. You can limit your "timed exclusives" for a year. I don't like it, but it isn't entirely unreasonable. But two years? Two years?? The sequel will be here by the time Xbox players actually have "the ultimate Destiny experience."
No more. I'm done being punished because I chose one console over the another.

Honestly if Destiny 2 continues this timed exclusive nonsense for either side I might just save my self some money and heart ache and not buy it. Even if Bungie isn't calling the shots about these marketing decisions they still have the capability as humans and the position as a Bungie member to stand up and talk to the people at activision about it. The fact that they probably arne't is what is so concerning.
-
I think I agree with you it's this shade backhand deals that are really making me dislike bungie more and more granted it's activision but surely as a developer they can put there foot down a little
-
Remember when halo was an xbox exclusive? Oh wait... Still is. Bungie is only slightly -blam!-ing you not -blam!-ing the shit out of you like they had done to playstation.
-
Halo is a console exclusive. You never, I mean never paid a single penny for halo. If you did, you were on Xbox and enjoyed it. The same way that I never paid a single penny for last of us. I don't bitch about that. However, I have paid a ton of money into destiny, and was told I would get a few items 1 year later. Now, no... This is bull shit.
-
-blam!-ing idiot if you bought halo and youre on playstation youre a -blam!-ing moron its a console exclusive title not multiplatform you imbecile
-
You're comparing the wrong things here mate. Can't use halo as an argument because only Xbox players had access to it when it first released. Where's both PS and Xbox players have destiny, with us Xbox players being shafted for 2 years instead of it only being 1 year, which it's always been.
-
Totally agree with you here. I was actually looking forward to the Strike. I love playing Strikes anyway so everything I could get makes it more fun. But now...
-
Dude be cool. The RoI exclusives is 1 PVP map and a ship. It's not that bad. I'm fine with it
-
How can a ship and a map be rendered obsolete?
-
It's the weapons and the strike that us Xbox users have been waiting for.
-
Yes, but I'm talking about the RoI exclusives.
-
Well those exclusives were to be expected.
-
Because they aren't in Destiny 2, and when it's released, everyone who can will jump to the new game. It won't matter if Xbox Destiny just got a ship, two maps, two guns, and some armors. The focus will be on the sequel, not it's predecessor.
-
It's a map and a reskinned ship... I can understand the other stuff, but it's not like a new map and ship matter that much...
-
Everyone has their preference. Some of us, like myself, are upset only about the weapons and armor (which was mentioned in my post). Others, the whole package.
