Sure. You can think that. But thats my point: thinking defines our reality. But does that reality correspond to what actually exists apart from what we think? Thats where our sense come in. You can think I am banned, but you need to use your sense to check what you think is true.

'Thinking defines our reality', . . . If you need to use your senses to confirm reality then thinking hasn't really defined it. DEFINE-VERB 1. State or describe exactly the nature, scope, or meaning of.

  • Why not? Our senses can confirm or corroborate reality, but even our senses boil down to what we think we see

If you see a rose then no matter how hard you stare at it, it will not smell like bacon, your sense of smell will tell you it smells like a rose.

  • What if it does smell like bacon, but everyone except you thinks it smells like a rose? How can truth be established?

  • You must acknowledge that your definition of "define" is flawed. If I define the word "jump" to mean that I am rolling myself on the ground, that does not mean that it is so. It means that I define it that way, but you may define it another way. Everything in life is subjective to ones own world view.

Everything in life is subjective to ones own world view.
It's not my definition, that was a dictionary definition of the word 'define' (oddest sentence I've ever written). So in this context I would stand by the fact I think the op used the word 'define' out of context. Op stated 'thinking defines our reality. You stated 'Everything in life is subjective to ones own world view', I actually agree with your statement but disagree with op. The words I think op should have used are 'experience' or 'observation' 'helps' define our reality. This could then flow with your statement . . . "Experience and observation, helps define our reality, when subjectively viewed through ones own world view". I think our version makes more sense than op's lol no offence to him, obviously :)
