No Man's Sky is better than an easy 80% of games that are full priced.
So no. It's more "worth it" than so much of the nonsense these days, or any day really.

Earlier in the summer would have been better, but still, the game has some time to shine before a tsunami of sequels. As for being better than 80% of games, maybe it is and maybe it isn't. More importantly, though, it's not another military shooter. There is a niche, a rather large niche, for a game like No Man's Sky. Whether I buy it for $60, $30, or less, I'm glad Hello Games made it.
