Sad news.. :(
-
I stopped playing about two three weeks ago because the battle of no vault space and full postmaster. It gets annoying having to run back and forth between the postmaster and rahool between 10 and 15 times each time I come back to the tower.
-
Bad move on bungies part.
-
God dammit! Stupid Bungie! I'm a veteran and do you know how much crap I got in my vault? Ridiculous...
-
-
Should be more vault space,, we getting new guns and armour,, Don't really wanna delete all stuff I have collected last few years,,, : (
-
This is a no brainer. With every expansion this needs to be a thing. Trying to make year one gear reattainable in future expansions for the sake of replayability has nothing to do with vault space. Stop trying to force our hand and let us play how we want, like you always state but never deliver upon.
-
There should not be a limit at all. And add sorting options. It's 2016 for the love of Randall!

Edited by Black Howling: 8/13/2016 3:31:38 PMI still don't believe it. At least when it comes to storage. I think they're going to implement something that will allow us to 'store' weapons without the need for increasing our vault space. Because if not...wow...

Edited by Black Howling: 8/11/2016 2:53:56 PMLet's introduce new series of weapons and armors, but not increase the, oh-so-difficult-to-maintain, item storage in a game that has now moved to current gen. You can infuse lots of your old stuff, however, there won't be any room for it...so much shady, utter bull. I'll believe this when I see it, because it's just that ridiculous.

Let me start by saying I love the game that is destiny. Secondly I use the term meta hear with out a full understanding of "meta". However, vault managment, that is throwing away the loot I earn/rngd is what kills the game for me. I have a lot of hours in the game and enjoyed them but the constant fight with postmaster/vault space due to everchanging meta has left me to play crucible(which I suck at) in order to avoid losing my legendary items at the postmaster, due to the lower drop rate of random blue/engrams. I would love to play COE or strikes but i guess I have just beaten the game and should move on. Too many treasures I cant part with, how can I delete the fatebringer it took me at least 30 + hard mode raids to acquire? Without vault space increase I will choose to find other things to do with my time. Currently I try to hunt down opinions or spreadsheets of data to determine which hawksaw(or any other meta weapon) is superior to the other(full stability hidden hand vs full stability counterbalance vs full auto max stability.) By the time I get actual play time with said hawksaws I have acquire 4 more max range party crashers with different perks to try. The only real easy choices are heavy weapons. I really hope they increase vault space and the abilty to tag/rate/sort items this would be a game changer/savior for me.

How can they not increase it? I thought it was one of the main benefits of leaving last gen behind.... If this turns out to be factual, I'm literally cancelling my RoI preorder. I have 6 weapon slots available throughout all characters and my vault. I'm not going to delete all the guns with the perks that I've worked hard to get because Bungie is too incompetent to add some -blam!-ing storage. Complete bullshit.
-
Edited by SquattingTurtle: 8/11/2016 8:16:46 PMI'm placing my bets on it having it. If not i'm completely screwed. Edit: Wow, i'm at a loss for words, i Literally will not be able to play RoI now. No point in playing if i can't get loot. Bungie you never cease to amaze me.

Edited by DracusPandor: 8/11/2016 8:57:17 PMA few days ago I combed my largest group of hordings (primary weapons) and saw several opportunities to thin the pile. At the same time, I found several weapons I had squirrelled away forgotten about that were awesome. My problem is my game style is constantly evolving and I get in spurts and moods where I want certain weapons types, or arch-types, or even perks, so deleting weapons can be problematic. I only store weapons that have good perks/stats (as I interpret them at the time). And, recognizing I constantly change, I store weapons I think would be cool, but not right then. For example, I hated shot guns and I never used my Warlock, but I recognized the potential of a shot gun with Up Close and Personal and the Warlock's extended melee range with the Stormcaller sub-class, so I kept a couple shot guns just in case. I'm glad I did, because now I main my Warlock/shot gun in PvP, and I just had to grab it from my vault. Please, please, Bungie, increase the vault space. Edit: I forgot that my friends and I like to do challenge modes in PvP & PvE with blue weapons/gear. It's super fun and adds a fresh change to normal play. Without more space it'll be impossible to legitimize keeping gear like that.

Edited by Janus Geminus: 8/11/2016 9:47:56 PMThe only problem with this if it turns out to be true is that it once again brings into question the choices of Bungie's developers being out of sync with the community. This issue of vault space was an example used to explain why last gen had to be dropped. It is also an on going issue for the collectors among us. As Destiny expands the collectors want to add to their trophies, not be forced to delete existing ones to make room for the new unknown ones. How increased space was/is not at the top of the must happen list, if for no other reason an to validate the "need" to drop last gen. And yes I agree after switching from 360 to XB1, destiny is a much better game on current gen systems. But you shouldn't state that you want to but can't do "X - that community is asking for" because of last gen and then once you drop that hold back, fail to implement the that "X" as soon as possible.

Edited by RedKain243: 8/11/2016 1:28:42 PMAgreed. The new gameinformer article confirms that there will be no more vault space added to the game. This is utterly confusing on multiple levels, especially since after dropping last gen, bungie talked about how last gen held things like vault space back
We did have to make some compromises of like vault space or tabs or things like that in the past to make sure it’d perform and be a good experience.
In addition, (I think) they also mentioned worrying about vault space would be "a thing of the past" (can't locate that video on mobile), all signs were pointing to an increase in vault space with RoI. I really hope that there's another story here that I'm unable to see, or that there's some kind of surprise in store, because not having any more space and having all that new gear come in would just be crazy. There will be all those exotics, and over 10 sets of new gear, not to mention all the legendary weapons and artifacts. The odd thing is, the gameinformer article seems to be so nonchalant in its mention of this - as if it is but an afterthought. That's just completely baffling to me.

More vault space needed.
-
Bungie you seriously need to increase Vault Space as a matter or urgency. As a Year 1 player, I have 1 of each class, with full raid sets from VoG, Crota, PoE (Year 1) and KF for every character. Not to mention the weapons too. This needs to happen!!
-
well if they dont give us more vault space.. im going to not find space on my console to install destiny 2. plane and simple...
-
Bungie, please. DONT make the community turn against you like they did in the last vault space debate. Legacy consoles are in the dust, there's no excuse. MAKE MORE SPACE OR SURELY THE COMMUNITY WILL BE AGAINST YOU.
-
They created the gear in this game to be something you would want to collect. Even the icons were meant to look "collectable". So give us somewhere to put all this stuff. Please. For the love of god.
-
I have been trying to get a post like this going, I really need more space I already ran out
-
The constant editing that goes on with this game makes it stupid to delete "obsolete" gear. Ya never know what destiny is goin to do next, seems really silly to delete anything for that matter.
-
I honestly don't understand why we can't have unlimited vaults like any other game. I hate getting rid of old stuff just so I have room for guns and armor that I hate but actually do damage to enemies...
-
Bump we need more space
-
No extra vault space in the next up coming dlc but what if there are not only one vault?
-
I have like over 2000 hours in the game and i haven't filled up the first page in any of my tabs, WTF are you people doing? You don't need 20 auto rifles, pick the 3 you like best and delete the rest of them, you have a problem.
