Want to listen to your favourite music whilst playing Halo, Forza, Sunset Overdrive etc. on your Xbox One?
Download the following app and any music you have stored on a USB stick can be played in the background! Or watch the linked video for more ways to play your favourite tunes while you game.

There is talk that Spotify and other streaming services are currently working on apps for Xbox One also so that's good news. =}
Edit:
Need to go to store on your Xbox One/Xbox.com or now on Xbox app mobile/PC and search for "Simple Background Music Player"
Need to have your USB key/external drive formatted as FAT32 or NTFS. (Or it saved in One drive its free up to 5GB) Your music must be in MP3, FLAC or WMA format and saved in a folder called "Xbox Music Library"
Uuv reliably informs that last night's update to the app now allows it to support M4A files so iPod/phones etc. now work but only up to 200 songs and as of yet no shuffle feature.
Must need latest iTunes update as my iPod doesn't work and another user said iPhone doesn't work either. ={

Doesn't currently work with Pandora or Audio CD apps without snapping. Doesn't support Spotify (as of yet).
Please bump and like for other fellow gamers on Xbox One. Thank you

It's dogshit. Up to 200 randomly selected songs and you don't get any options like looping or shuffle. Plus, one song plays once and stops. Garbage.
