I would say YES and NO. The raid weapons with no burn seem pretty useless and not very attractive. Almost not even worth it. On the flip side, when certain weapons have the burn, they become the "Go To" weapons and that's all you end up using and then everyone starts to complain about variety Haha It's a double edged sword.
The raid weapons with no burn seem pretty useless and not very attractive
WHAT?? People didn't hunt fatebringer down because it had blue bullets!

I agree with you, except that raid weapons do have a burn on taken enemies. Which, if you haven't run strikes in Y2, are very prevalent. I wonder if people ignore will of light becaise it isn't color-coded?

True, they do more damage to Taken enemies, but that's pretty meh to me. The Taken enemies are so easy to kill Haha In a world where the Nightfall's are all but irrelevant, the primary weapon burn really doesn't matter anymore. At least not to me. I'd be more on board with the whole Xur selling elemental "cores" or whatever. Or just having them drop randomly from end game rewards and being able to apply them to any primary you want.

I don't have as much problems killing taken as I do being killed by their cheat-codes. Every second I shave off their life is one added to mine. IRL. But with respect, hell no. Xür better not sell elemental cores. If these scrubs want to make pve easier, they need to go through hell first. Y1 nightfal with no cheeses and a limited number of attempts/lives hard. 5-manning conflux and oracles in vanilla destiny without icebreaker hard. If bungie softens up and makes the game easier, the amount of people complaining that there's nothing to do will go up, and player-count will go down.
