Back in the day, I kept running out of vault space because of elemental primaries. I kept 3 of the same gun with different elemental damage. Even with the increased vault space we have right now, we will still run out. There are far too many guns that we all have. Imagine having three elements of each! I like the idea of elemental primaries, but there has to be a better way to implement it. If they would implement a similar system as they did with Murmur, I'd be okay with it.

    Elemental primaries didn't come with a variety of burns so I find it hard to believe you had multiples of each with a different burn. Fatebringer was always arc; Oversoul Edict was always arc; Abyss Defiant and Vision of Confluence were always Solar, they didn't come any other way. I could believe this possibly for secondaries or heavies, but not the raid ones because they were always the same as well. The only exception to primaries were from the Lighthouse.

  • Trials adept elemental primary weapons would drop in all three burns. So would the original Prison of Elders (Skolas) elemental primaries. There was definitely a time when I had one of each burn summoner, one of each burn messenger, and one of each burn wolves leash 2. I personally feel like the elemental weapons should have a burn node like the current "chroma" node. You pay glimmer, motes, etc and need a special elemental damage crystal or something to change the burns.

  • I did forget about the Skolas weapons. I actually never got any of them until after TTK. Only completed Skolas 5 times prior to TTK and have only done it maybe 3 or 4 times since. Most of the people I played with at the time were too intimidated by the encounter to want to do it on a regular basis. I did mention the Lighthouse weapons, but I think most PvE players would agree those weapons were not the greatest for PvE activities.
