Hawkmoon, Red Death and Monte Carlo. Everything else serves its purpose.

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 8/9/2016 2:21:29 AMMonte Carlo is actually pretty damn good still. A lot of people swear by it. It's not the meta, so it gets overlooked, but that doesn't mean anything if you know what you're doing.

Monte Carlo just doesn't do it for me. Although it has more range than a fair amount of auto rifles, it's still not outstanding because of the fire rate and somewhat rowdy recoil. The Exotic perk just doesn't do it for me, as I main a Bladedancer with Fast Twitch, so I get my melee charge in about 6-10 seconds anyway. I'm not saying it's a bad weapon, because it isn't. However, if I were to roll with an Exotic auto rifle, I'd much rather use a SUROS for its increased versatility and potential to kill at long range (with Focus Fire on).

Hawkmoon is fine where it is.

I think it's better than it used to be, but it doesn't feel like an Exotic weapon right now. The extra damage from the LitC and Holding Aces bullets require a double-stack to kill someone in two headshots. Compare that to any other Legendary hand cannon of the same archetype (Eyasluna, TDYK, LHF, The Vanity, etc) that rolls with bonus damage. They're two-shots with only one damage increase, and they also spawn with better stability, base range, reload speed, aim assist and perks that help over-all performance. Don't get it twisted. Hawkmoon is my favorite weapon. However, I don't think it's where it should be in terms of performance.

Well i see where your coming from and compared to last word its not that good. If you want to buff it then buff some base perks like stability reload i don't want to make it another meta.
