It's a simple shoulder roll ... at impossible speed, where you turn into smoke.

At least one can see smoke & only has to look left or right or at the same spot if they roll backwards & can still be killed by a gun during such & or grenade. Where in blink you are up in the air vanish entirely & pop up elsewhere in an instant.. Because that isn't "Impossibly fast." Psh, biased much...

I'm not biased. I'm pointing out your bias. I'm pointing out that shade step has a lot of the same properties, not saying that blink doesn't have them. By the way, blink doesn't disappear completely, and reappear, they streak at high speed. I've fusioned people mid blink, and seen people snipped out of a blink (not by me, I'm not that good with a sniper). Both those things can happen to blink or shade step. Personally, I hate blink. I never use use it. I think it's way overrated. Likewise, shade step is annoying, but not that big of a deal. I don't ever run shade step either. Both perks are fine as is.

Still forgetting the fact that blink has vertical displacement taken into account, where Shade Step doesn't. Which is beneficial in many situations. I understand nurfing 'The Garrison' given that it's technically an armor ability & not a subclass ability. (While also having vertical evade taken into account as blink does.) But again, shade step doesn't. Titans are also really quick while airborne already. It's like people complaining about 'The Purifier Robes', "they were only good in PVP when people weren't use to seeing them & such was new to them." I had them in the 1st week or so when they came out back in the day, just like I had shade step really early when it finally came out in Taken King. People get use to these things just like they claim people get use to countering blink... Hell, they even told people how to counter blink themselves while refusing to nurf such. Which they were clearly okay with leaving alone. So given that it is just as possible to counter, they should have left it alone like such. Period. Hunters have zero over shielding & VERY low armor stat, so "evade options" like Shade Step is what we got to survive until recovery kicks in. Shot in mid-ability or not that fact remains absolute. Hunters are meant to thrive on Agility, they are not like Warlocks or Titans in terms of their balance.

I think you're just special pleading. You don't like blink, so your nit picking minor differences, and blowing them out of proportion. I am willing to entertain your argument if you are willing to sacrifice all jump abilities for a cool down period after a shade step. If not, your asking for blink to cripple a player after use that doesn't apply to shade step, and that's hypocritical.

Lol Coming from someone who blew something out of proportion from your 1st post on here. You acted as if from the start the post was "Nerf Blink." While still avoiding the strengths of each character. You got tired of counting the pros & cons as many do- even Bungie. I could just as easily say you want Hunters to be slow, because their BOW made you slow in mayhem all week while taking your super away when they are designed for such. So you're resorting to this rubbish instead for "Your entertainment." Proving to all why they hardly show up on these posts because they watch us deal with it & would rather not themselves. Other than that; I've legitimately never said for them to "nerf blink" a single time, so I have nothing else really to say to you. Except, nice try. Find something better to do.

No, didn't use the word nerf, you just strongly implied it. It's not as though you did a careful dance about the line, you trampled all over it, then claim unbridged when I point it out. I'm no champion of blink, I don't even like it, but when I see bullshit, I call it out.
