You need to earn it like the rest of us, it will only make you a better player
It's the best gamemode, trust me, learn to use your opponents aggression against them. mix up your movement and keep them guessing, fake them out with a slide one time, then come flying around the corner the next. If you only slide you will die quickly since great players always pick up on patterns and habbits.
Use grenades often and effectively, always have an escape route in mind, not too run away but to take cover, there are very few times you get away from an elite rumble player
Your primary is your best friend, your special weapon is an added bonus, since you can't always get to the ammo boxes
And my biggest tip to you. Don't stay in one place for too long, someone is gonna want that spot too, and eventually two people will, that's when you move and get anyone going to your old spot

i agree it needs to be earned like trials, i have my trials grimore and would be more than happy for them to only do 5 wins if it helped the ones that struggle with PVP. as we get older our refelxs get less also guys i really appreicate your advice and ive tried taking it and about from you guys/girls telling me im crap im still constantly getting 2nd or 3rd lol even if they did a .5 win for 2nd with would mean 200 2nd places surely that should be the case!! remeber if your not a PVP player and a PVE this is far also in PVE grimoire you can always get a hand from the community or other guardians!!!! i still think it needs a change

A serious question. If I do a lot of rumble will I improve ?
-
As an independent player yes, it teaches you how to hold your own without cover fire
-
I went from 0.27 K/D to 1.02 and I'm always looking for ways to improve. Thx I should give it a try.
-
Just keep what I said above in mind.
-
Even though most of you have earned many boosted.
-
You can tell by the kd
-
Yup, like yours I checked your rumble k/d, at first it looked like you boosted. Then I checked your other playlists, and determined you are way above average and guys like you ruin me getting in first and always end up getting second. But keep up the good work👌
-
Yeah, I'm no booster, I'm just that good
-
It's the absolute worst game mode...
-
Well your one of the worst players then
-
Because I don't like eating dog food, I have bad taste? Your logic is flawed, Sir.
-
Obviously you won't enjoy a game mode that is completely out of your league, your logic is flawed It's more like eating a meal so good, everyone else wants to enjoy it too, but there's only enough for one
-
It's more like fighting over rotten, maggoty scraps in a third-world refuse yard. But, hey, if that's something you aspire toward, you do you. Just remember that psychiatric help is available, should you choose to seek it.
-
I see, you wouldent know how it tastes, your just too slow to get a bite
-
Why would I race to blindly shove food down my throat if the food were in any way worthy of enjoyment? Why would I compete for such a thing unless I were starving and at the end of my dignity? Have you ever seen a worthy meal served in such a fashion?
-
Yeah, it's called rumble. Except the reason you never get a bite is because you blindly rush to get a bite
-
The reason I never get a bite is because I spend my time pursuing meals that are more thoughtfully prepared and less demeaning.
-
If you can't even win a rumble match, I doubt you can get to the lighthouse
-
I may not get there often, but I got there once. And then pretty much never played it again. Trials isn't fun either.
Silly arguments aside, that's kind of the point. People don't want to dedicate their lives to playing Rumble. They want to check the box and move on. There are a lot of games (and books, and life) out there you miss out on if you spend months just playing what is ultimately a very one-dimensional game mode. The question is, what's a reasonable commitment to expect to receive the reward? Any other Crucible game mode awards a win to half the players in the game. Rumble should conform to that same standard. It already does for bounties.
-
It should not be a checkbox There's a reason rumble is the pro players playhouse, because of your good, you will win, but if your bad, you will still have a chance to improve
-
Of course it's a check box. You make it sound like a lifestyle choice. Also, for most players as they improve they just get stronger opponents. The match-making actively prevents them from dominating matches until it runs out of stronger opponents to give them. Again, it's about determining a reasonable commitment to receive the reward.
-
I'll use that argument too, my stats in rumble are way up there, and i face harder opponents than you can imagine, but I still improve and win
-
You clearly enjoy the game mode, though. Many, many people just want to complete it and put it away. In the bottom of a locked filing cabinet. Stuck in a disused lavatory. With a sign on the door that reads, "Beware of the Leopard." Not everyone is going to enjoy every game mode. If you don't like raiding, you can do a raid once, receive your check mark, and move on. You don't have to complete it 100 times and become a master at every aspect of it. Rumble shouldn't demand that kind of commitment either, because it's appeal is quite limited. I'll give you another example. I completed the Grimoire for VIP patrols without realizing it was there. That doesn't mean it isn't stupid. It's stupid for the same reason the Rumble Grimoire is stupid.

Except rumble takes way more effort
