It might be giving out. I'd try to leave it unplugged for awhile them try it but other than that it might be fine for a be tv or at least get a new one for gaming and watch regular tv on that one. 32 inch tvs are 150 bucks now.

  • Couldn't hurt to try. Couldn't afford a new one at the moment (and cutting my tv size in half would suck too).

  • Oh yeah you for sure got to try. And by awhile I mean like a couple of hours. Also it's not like your TV is completely shot, you can always use it with the slight dim if it's not to bad until you can afford another TV. I went from a 42 to a 32 and I see no difference. On another note the larger the TV the larger the input lag from the xbox to the TV. So your 60 inch probably has a nice input lag to it. When I went from my 42 to a 32 I noticed a significant increase in my response times on my controller. So going from a 60 to even a 42 you will notice a alot more sharp responses to your controls.

  • True. It's not unwatchable yet. If it's fixable, i don't wanna ignore it until it's not. I just don't know enough to know for sure. And don't guess i realized that. I'll keep that in mind if i downsize. I have to run all my stuff off my phone's Internet, so anything that can help the lag would be nice.

  • Ahhhhhhh that's no bueno... you need to invest in some internet. But yeah plasma TVS are pretty hard to work on so once they go bad there isn't really much else you can do. I would try leaving it unplugged in between uses that could help.

  • I'll give that a shot. I actually can't get anything better where i live. I'm lucky i have a phone with grandfathered in unlimited data. I've hit 300+gb in a month before. Verizon hates me

  • Hahahahahah holy shit that's awesome. You're my idol. Minus the part that you probably red bar every game you play but you do what you gotta do.

  • I was in there a while back and asked how much my overage charges would be if i had the highest data plan. It was like 4000. Actually i don't red bar that often. It's not the greatest, but far from the worst. I live just down a hill from a cell tower, in a fairly sparsely populated area. Not many people pulling data often, so i still get fairly decent speeds at least

  • Idk I'm just on of those try hard or, "sweaty" players that use a monitor instead of a TV so I don't get that 0.07 lag time.
