What about making our normal and rare or uncommon gear into legendery like us bungie ?

So in destiny theres gear that is legendery right ? Well why is it called legendery ? Its powerful or holds a peice of history or just something made from the vangaurd or from the raid with quotes right ? Theres the Common gear then the Uncommon and then Rare. You know what guadians do ? Kick alien butt or show increidible skill in the cruicible. Guardians should be able to make gear legendery or heck a bit of a stretch but maybe into a exotic. Make it possible to get a Guardian to upgrade a old peice of gear to something just as powerful, I dont mean a year one weapon to year two. I mean making a white weapon in year two into a legendery. In the coming DLC we can grow powerful and become Iron Lords like Lord Saladin. Why cant we make a legend out of our name and engrave that into our weapons. To let other new green horns find our weapons to make a name for themselfs ? I dont know how youll do it bungie but it be awesome. Maybe making a set would require light, glimmer a gunsmith quest or a faction quest. If its a weapon having a primary class you must infuse 5 primary class of the same type into it. No one perk can be duplicated on any of the weapons because maybe it easier and somewhat fair to let players decide what thier gun should have but not have a god roll perk. The weapons can be duplicates but not same perks. For armor It will be the same. The only diffrences will be its stats like Int, Str and Dis. The more of the stat of the armor the more chance it has to be that stats. The rolls will be picked randomly from whatever perks you had on the perivious armor. Making a quest that lets you upgrade a weapon for each type (primary, secondry and heavy) and also upgrade a armor peice for each type (head, chest and so on) per account. Youll talk to gunsmith, he tells you he can give you something to make a peice of gear powerful and evolve. The item he gives you is in mission inventory and lets you pick what you wana make and it will tell you what you need. Select 5 weapons you want to use to infuse. These 5 weapons must be fully upgraded and has been used in a raid. Killing certain amount of foes with it and ending the boss with said weapon. If you want to prove yourself through pvp then going flawless and killing certain amount of players since its a weekend even that happens nonstop unlike the iron banner. If you ever done the exotic sword quest and just speed run it it will show one part completed but not the lower part even though you killed him ? well cause you didnt do it right. Im sure bungie can prob make the quest work like that in a way. After all weapons has seen some mean stuff and become fully powerful you can infuse them into the common or rare you want. Simply by selecting the mission item and showing up the infusion menu like normal but for making something powerful and legendery. It will show you the 5 weapons greyed out or light up saying thier good to go or not. Then pick your common/uncommon/rare weapon. The upgrading cost is like 10,000 glimmer, 100 motes of light, Helium Flakes (cause description wise they abosord whatever is expose on it Glimmer being tech and your making your guns into this molten spark of power youll prob need something to melt it on right ? ) Then 25 Ascenedet materials, making old raids even more revistable and relevant again. Then 25 weapon parts. ( just numbers out of my head) The light lvl ? well it becomes a legendery that starts off at the 290 and can be infused with something else to reach the cap. Upgrading it ? i think year 1 of upgrading would work out better cause its more unique like that and more speacil to the player. The quest might seem confusing might as well make it more confusing. The same applies to armor. Just wear it and kill things with it on. Forgive my spelling and grammer im horrible at writing. So anyone that reads this you think this is a good idea or nay ?
