So I live in Europe and I've rediscovered an interest in Pokemon since the release of Pokemon Go. I want to buy a 3ds but I also want value for money. I have 3 options.
-3ds XL (€120)
-New 3ds (€195)
-New 3ds XL (€240)
Any help or suggestions would be immensely appreciated. Thanks.

Get 2ds. It plays 3ds games on it and new at best buy it's only 80 American dollars.
-
I'd just get a DS lite. You can play pokemon on it, and the gameboy cartridges as well.
-
It's called, monster hunter Generations, forget about Pokemon, get monster hunter!

The New 3DS, standard size. The increased processing power is incredibly noticeable (Smash Bros. runs super smooth and fast, whereas it was slow on the original 3DS). I don't like the XLs because they have the same number of pixels as the smaller models, so the resolution goes down.

New 3DS. The CPU and GPU are noticeably better. The adjusted layout is also a blessing.

I kept touching my screen trying to vote, lol
right choice is New 3DS XL, there's currently only one game that runs on new3DS only, but the future is unclear and Nintendo is crazy, I need to upgrade but since I can still play the new Pokémon on my standart 3DS it's fine
Easy, none
jk idk
Lucky bastard, in the U.S we only got the new 3ds xl. It's nice but if the only difference is size you may as well go with the normal New 3ds
-
New 3DS XL, it's better for people with medium-large hands
-
I personally would get the New 3DS XL. I prefer a larger screen.

New XL

Edited by Seldser: 8/1/2016 9:10:42 PMNew 3DS, it has a better processor, can play SNES games from the e-shop, and the smaller size means it's more economical. Plus you can change out the cover plates

Get the new 3ds. You can play xenoblade on it.
