Today on the Xbox store I saw that there was finally an update. Now instead of just the rating and other typical info, there was another new bit. As I watched the loading circle spin I waited in anticipation to read "Pre-order $**", instead what I was greeted with was "Bundle Only."
My response was, "The f do you mean bundle only?" I have had Destiny since Day One, I have had the Taken King DCE since it came out as well.
So I'm puzzled and PO'ed like many Xbox players. I understand the rules of engagement for exclusivity for a console for DLC and such, but what does it matter whether they are up for PRE-ORDER at the same time or at separate times? And even more so, since the Xbox store reads "Bundle Only," does that mean that my previous purchases are null and void and have to buy some BS bundle I already technically possess!?
I would like an honest answer from Bungie, from Deej, Cozmo or whoever, this needs to be ratified once and for all. Just how exactly does the system work for this kind of thing?

Bungie said one thing and M$ does what they please. M$ better NOT try to only sell us a bundle where we have to buy EVERYTHING that came before and ROI just...because they can.

It's a Microsoft thing. They will not allow users to buy content that doesn't exist yet. As of now it's pre ordering digital content that isn't out. So we have to wait for Bungie friend. :)

Thanks for literally reading the posts title and immediately replying with a stupid answer. Took you exactly 1 minute to post. (Me: 10h 14m, You: 10h 13m) You shouldn't have to wait to pre-order something, and you shouldn't have to WAIT until an event like Gamescom to be able to either. But what I'm asking isn't solely about that. What I'm asking is WTH is the "Bundle Only" option and why are iterations of the Taken King like the DCE not acceptable. Why is the expansion set to roll out on Sept. 20th, and yet the only ones who haven't be able to pre-order are we Xbox One owners? Sure you can if you can get to your local gamestop, but some players aren't 14, some players are older and have jobs that keep them there into the night past the stores hours. I'm so sick of the blatant disregard for certain groups of players simply because of the console of choice. As stated, I understand how it works for priority DLC for most other games, but since when is it also about be able to pre-order? It's BS Bungie and you know it. This console war BS needs to stop, and you need to treat the fans/players of your game a little more equally.
