[BUNGIE] UPDATE: Patch 2.3.1 Known Issues: BEAVER Errors and Nightfall Strike Specific Drops

Hot fix 2.3.1.1 has gone live on all platforms to reduce the BEAVER errors introduced in the 2.3.1 Patch.

[b][u]Strike Specific Rewards: Nightfall Issue[/u][/b]
Destiny Player Support is aware of reports that players are not receiving strike specific loot upon defeating the final boss of this week’s Nightfall Strike. Nightfall Post Game Carnage Report Rewards are NOT impacted by this issue, nor is the Vanguard Heroic Strike Playlist. We have forwarded reports to the appropriate party for investigation, and will provide updates when available.

Seriously bungie is one of the most pathetic response companies I have ever seen, anyone who went to 343 made the right decision, the old bungie was always and will always be the best bungie until you plebs start to gaf about your players... Excellent job with last week's update, you guys are clearly out of your depth here, I recommend making a app game instead.

8 RepliesI can't believe it's bugged. I have been waiting for this NF strike for so long in hope for the Mantle. I have completed the strike about 10 times on Tuesday and still no mantle. I really hope this will be resolved before the reset.

4 RepliesSo it's been almost 4 days since the weekly reset and nightfall is still not fixed, in addition we've received no update at all about it. Are you all really that incompetent? Seriously if there was a problem with eververse it would have been fixed an hour later, some of us have been waiting weeks to farm the scout rifle/cloaks and you guys can't seem to be able to swap the nightfall from og dust palace to taken dust palace Tell us you're working on it at least, even if it's not true. Normally I'd asume dust palace would be next week's nightfall to compensate, but this is bungie I guess...

9 RepliesWe have two XBOX Ones in our household so my son and I can play Destiny together. Now it won't let us join into a fireteam together. It says, "Unable to join the target player. Please try again." Above the "Set Destination" button it says "Not all players are joined into a fireteam." Now, keep in mind I have literally played thousands of hours with my son on Destiny, with no issues. So... even though we are now not getting "beavered," I can't play with anyone else, including raids, CoE, or even crucible matches with my boy. So, it looks like in fixing one problem, you created another Bungie. Standing by for yet another fix for a patch to an update. Jeez...

I'm confused cozmo and would definitely like a answer asap. Now I absolutely do not like the crucible thanks too all the nerfs that has come from it, but I'll play when one of my friends drags me into it. This leads into why I am confused, because as we all know the crucible is horrendously filled with so many cheaters it's outrageous. In fact what I don't get is why nerfs get handed out like candy on Halloween and bans for cheating is like a myth period. Nerf post on here get more attention than any post about cheaters every damn time, and the cheating post come with proof. It's bad enough you can buy mods to cheat on this game. You can buy lag switches and the sellers description on some of them tells you destiny is a great game to use it on because you have a low chance of getting banned. I really wish the team over at bungie had better dedication on banning cheaters like blizzard with overwatch. I guess my question is why put more effort in weapon nerfs or "balance" than banning cheaters? What's the point of messing with our guns and subclass if they have no effect on a cheater who's character can eat a full clip in the face?

1 ReplyI have always played Destiny and all xbox one games I own with a strict NAT without any issues whatsoever up until this recent update. I am unable to join my friends fireteams but if we get someone else to make the fireteam we can join in together however once we leave orbit and load into crucible, a raid, or strike then it will kick one of us out. The error codes are beaver rabbit and quail. Now I have literally done everything possible short of calling the ISP to open the NAT ; port forwarding and dmz with no success. There was a few times after port forwarding that XBOX Ones NAT did go to open but was still unable to join friends and on my next reset it went right back to strict and now it stays on strict at all times even with the port forwarding. While I do know that having an Open nat is preferred it seems like this is all a issue on bungies end because there were NO issues previous to the update and failed hotfix. This is beyond frustrating not being able to play with friends anymore. I have been playing since the start of year ONE so why all of a sudden would strict NAT be a problem on my end?

10 RepliesBungie, now I can get to the Tower (no more BEAVER codes), but I cannot join friends. The patch has not completely fixed the issue. I do have a moderate NAT, but that did not prevent me from joining others before update 2.3.1.0.

In trials today, on a 4/4 game my teammate started lagging and on the last round he spawn in dead in the same spot he died in a previous round. Except on his console he was alive, and I was the dead one. We basically played a round where neither was sure what was actually happening because we both saw the other dead. Needless to say, we lost. Please fix this, the latest patch had destroyed pvp for me with issues like this.

hi guys, I'm still not getting anywhere with the crucible. I've fully updated with all previous DLC and any updates for the beaver fix but still wont let me in the crucible. Daily or any other playlists! Error code was mongoose. just to let you know! I can join my friends list but not while they're in activity. With only seeing other Guardians in the tower for now. (none on patrol)).
