Which gaming mouse should I choose?

I have the Razer Naga MMO mouse, only because MMOs are all I played back then because that is what my computer could handle, now I built my first ever PC, and I can play every game I could think of. I've been playing Overwatch over the past few days as it's the second game I bought aside from CSGO, I have been somewhat really good at those games, and then I heard that laser mice are abominations to FPS games and can cause acceleration? I have never experienced such things or I might have but never really saw it as a bad thing, so people are recommending me to buy an Optical mouse for those FPS games, can someone recommend some gaming nice I should take a look at?

      • Personally I use this for PC gaming, it's comfortable and the programmable buttons help. [spoiler]also setting the DPI to maximum when my parents needed to borrow my computer for taxes was hilarious, I did set it back to normal after the initial humour wore off so they could do the taxes. • I've been using the Logitech g502 for the past year or two, it's been working beautifully, completely customizable with multiple buttons(4-6 specifically) and you're able to switch sensitivity and button layouts on the fly which I find to be a godsend in my fps games. It's a bit pricy, when I got it it was roughly $110(?) Canadian, can't remember exactly, it's probably dropped in price. Match with a Steelseries cloth mouse pad, can't go wrong.

Logitech G600. Arguably the best gaming mouse on the market. Top of the line in quality and such an incredibly low price. I've had two of these and I can't ever see a reason to change. LMB RMB RRMB Sideways scrolling 12 side buttons 2 top buttons. I use the RRMB as a modifier, so technically, I have like, 32 buttons on my mouse.

          • I just got a Razer death adder after hearing good things about it. I like it a lot and noticed an immediate improvement, though my previous mouse was wireless so that has a lot to do with it.. Nice and basic, not a lot of buttons. It's cool though because it changes color based on the character I select in Overwatch :3

            • Laser mice are fine, work better than any old mechanical mice that's for sure. If possible you may want to buy an optical non-laser mouse as it's slightly better with the acceleration. Having a good mousepad is however just as important for optical accuracy of the mouse.
