We all know what I'm talking about, let's just admit it. Warlock's get a freakin bad (in the good way) scout rifle, and Hunters get a pretty nice hand cannon. Titans are over there holding their Fabian Strategy, crying cause their poor baby is just about the worst exotic out there. Cozmo, if ya could read this, I think pretty much everybody agrees that Fabian Strategy needs just a little something to help it compete with the other exotics. Even if you have to reinvent the whole gun's exotic perk or just add a little something extra, many people would appreciate it. Thanks.
Edit: We're a pretty high trending topic right now. Keep it up guys, maybe we can get Bungie's attention.
Edit 2: We actually got a response from Cozmo!! Great job guys!

Edited by StarSol: 8/8/2016 2:49:20 AMI agree. Fabian wastes an exotic slot and offers nothing more than 3 perks. Hence the front lines perk being nothing more than a reverse Focus Fire. You're better off using a legend auto with Counterbalance. Seriously. Go buy the deal breaker from Crucible quartermaster. It's better.

Lol just read the info dump on rise of iron. The exotic khvostov will literally bury the already buried Fabian strategy. It pretty much has Fabian strategies exotic perk with no range penalties... smh.
-
I think the exotic perk should be changed to: "This weapon has increased Rate of Fire and Stability and draws ammo directly from the reserves when enemies are near." Or: "This weapon has increased Rate of Fire and Stability and fires Explosive Rounds when enemies are near."
-
Fun fact: khvostov out preforms Fabian strategy. Has a ha ha kind of thing I did a four matches two with each. Khvostov netted more kills...
-
I think its already pretty damn good
-
I do see a lot of requests to increase the effectiveness of Fabian Strategy. I will let the weapon designers know that this is something you would like to see in a future update.
-
The best strategy to use the fabian strategy is to unequipped it and place it in the vault never to be used again
-
Totally agree OP. Fabian strategy is easily the worst class specific exotic weapon.
-
A good buff that i thought about was to expand ammo from the reserves instead of the magazine whenever Front Lines perk is active... That way you can take advantage of the crowd control perk alot more often...
-
Bump.
-
Bump!
-
Even just explosive rounds on it would be nice and make the weapon really cool
-
I have long suggested that the Front Lines perk be reworked to grant unflinching and directional damage resistance (basically the Guerrilla Fighter perk) while ADS. Guerrilla Fighter rewards fighting from behind cover after all, and the Fabian Strategy has cover permanently bolted onto its front end.

-
It need to be like tlaloc, it needs to keep the damage (or at least an increased damage) when front lines is active
-
I think this was meant to be a pve weapon.
-
Yikes, i just realised that i have the weapon..........but i also have 0 kills with it :D
-
Agreed the gun is a total piece of crap..never ever seen it used since it's launch, but it's typical the Titan gets the short end of the stick always so!
-
Well, I got killed by this weapon once so obviously the gun is OP

Edited by Jared_van_Kell: 7/26/2016 9:41:53 PMThe main thing that it needs is an additional stability boost of about 10 so that it has a base stability of 52 which would be above the Arminius-D but below the Zarinaea-D. The base stability increase would then mean that Smallbore need not be the only perk that gets chosen and Lightweight/Extended Magazine would be worth trying. If smallbore does get chosen then the stability increases to 72 and becomes a laser when Front Lines does proc. Yes the smaller magazine size would be a problem but when most, if not all, of your shots are hitting the target it is a small price to pay. Overall if this small change were made it would make the weapon viable in both PvP and PvE. It would still not be top tier but it would be worth taking as an exotic. JvK B)

You just gotta learn how to utilize the bastard. I've had it all of a week and I wish I could use it on my Warlock. It's so hilariously good for me. I spend entire games laughing because things just don't stop dying.
-
It's not as bad as you make out, but it's not that good either.
-
It is a decent gun but it's one of the main reasons I switched to my Warlock, because I want that Tlaloc
