Xur, gunsmith, Three of coins, engrams, night falls, prison of elders, strikes, and certain chests. Those are all ways you can get exotics. In year one, I got really excited whenever I got an exotic. And so did most people. However, exotics have become too common. Whenever I get a lord of wolves from Prison of Elders, I don't get as excited as I did in year one. First off, you can't get exotics from the raid anymore (Prison of Elders not included). And weapons you get from the raid are usually MUCH better options as weapons then exotics. Which would you rather fight with? Defiance of Yasmin or patience and time? Quillums terminus or thunder lord? For most of you, you probably answered the raid weapons. Exotics don't feel AS useful as they did before like icebreaker or ghally or thunder lord. Second, you made their perks, for the most part, worse. Yes, you improved super good advice but STILL NO ONE USES IT. IT IS STILL USELESS. Necrochasm was made better, even without light advantages, I see on every 50 crucible games. Fourth horseman... No one uses, because there are MUCH better options than that ammo burning gun. People feel like they have no use to use exotics. Lastly, it doesn't require too much to get exotics anymore. Invective, SGA, pocket infinity had a quest to get them. Vex mytho, Nechrochasm, dregs promise, queenbreakers bow, and lord of wolves took a while to get. However, now just grind strikes with three of coins and you can get almost every exotic. And PoE guns took many games to get in year 1. It took me 4 games to get them all in year 2. Bungie, please fix these issues. I have almost the same complaints for armor rarity wise, but they can still be useful and are viable options. Armor is fine as it is.
