Mida and TLW *sigh*
No, this is not a nerf post.
BUT... I honestly am getting sick and tired of being killed by them. It's just not funny anymore.
Especially in IB they make up 85% of the guns I encounter. The rest are Grasp/Hawksaw and a few
others.
There are so many guns in Destiny, but why use so little of them?
Just wanted to get that of my chest.

Tell bungie to change the weekly crucible bounties then. I keep seeing all these complaints about how people see them too much, well you need games with at least 6 hand cannon kills and scout rifle kills. As well as other bounties that promote hand cannon and scouts. OBVIOUSLY this is why we see su much tlw and mida.

No what's funny is mida only "outclasses" other weapons is because you -blam!-s got bungie to nerf just about every archetype. Lol oh well it's a terrible cycle you nerf top tier weapons until low tier weapons are top tier. The cycle continues!

1 ReplyI am actually seeing some weapon variety, finally not sure how long have you been playing Destiny, but I've played every single IB to date and can tell you that there used to be times when 95+% used Thorn ...and THAT was annoying ;)

I've seen a lot of grasps, which I wasn't surprised about, but what I have been surprised about is the number of people using First Curse, I'm glad more folk are appreciating it

Me personally I always wanted my own mida because from what I saw it looked like a great gun and I liked the design for it

Because this game always has a meta of certain guns that just out class anything else. It's stupid and pretty lousy.

In my opinion, the last word is a difficult gun to master but the MIDA is pretty easy to use.

I did notice getting picked off by the last word at midrange and not standing a chance. My pulse is pretty beast and that thing was just mowing me down. I've tried using TLW but rarely have that kind of success with it. However, more often than not I wreck TLW, so the person using may have just been skilled.

So far I've been using hardlight, NLB, and TFC backed up with my havoc pidgeon and the vendor hitchhiker. I'd highly recommend these to anyone who wants to take a break from the meta.

That's why I use jade rabbit and my trusty side arm a havoc pigeon with range finder spray and play and high caliber rounds (cause I've yet gotten a party crasher with range finder:(

I saw a bunch of other guns in IB. I run finnela's or DIS-43, vacancy and thunderlord.

I use smite of merain, the vacancy, and truth. Or Smite. Dregs promise.My op machine gun.

1 ReplyBungie refuses to make other guns just as good. Imagine if low ROF auto and pulse rifles got a significant buff? PVP would be filled with Red Death, Suros Regime, and similar guns
