Hey guardians! I've just recently made a second account to play destiny two days ago (felt like starting anew but didn't want to delete a character I've already made) and when I started it up, Refer-a-Friend popped up on the screen and I was like "Oh yeah! I've never done this before." So I went to this account and sent a Refer-a-Friend link to my new account. It then said that I needed to play the Taken King. So I was like okay, whatever, that just means I need to play the the first quest of the Taken King story I assume. I did that and it still says I need to play it. So I'm wondering if it's not letting me do it because I need to complete the Taken King questline or what. I have my original account on my gf's ps4 so I was going to have her play on mine account and then me on my new one. Any help is appreciated!
TL;DR
Wondering what I need to do to start up the Refer-a-Friend quest when it says that I need to purchase the Taken King, even though I have it already.

Since you created a new sub account, this account doesn't own the license You can find more information here https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13962
