Consistently all of these polls turn up with more Christians than atheists. Your polls about different denominations of Christians had a handful of artists for ALL the Christian contents. And there aren't really any mean ones. This website is full of religious people. Edit: fill to full

  • Also, only about 2-13% of the worlds population is atheist I've seen numerous off topic polls that are 50/50 or even in favor of atheists I think it's cause a lot of atheists are actually pretty smart and introverted and video games attract a lot of introverts and smart people.

  • I could agree with that statement (Although it'd make me sound vain) but I think there are plenty of intelligent Christians. I'm just afraid the vast majority of Christians try to back up their belief with fact. That then leads to people trying disprove them which creates a harsh environment where we've two groups at each other's throats. Also i do believe correct helps people to be more social. Back when I was younger I still went to church willingly even though I had no belief in God because it easy a welcoming environment with plenty of happy people to talk to. It leads to an easier social life when you have so much more experience with talking to large groups of people.

  • I honestly would be an atheist myself if it wasn't for one event in my life and one event in my friends life. I fell from a 14 foot drop from a tree head first only to be saved by my legs getting caught on a termite infested branch that couldn't even hold up its own weight, stopping my head from hitting the ground by less than 1 cm. The impact of my legs on the branch should of destroyed the muscles around my calf and it would have completely dislocated bones around my knee but I still somehow came out without a single cut or bruise. My friend onetime got in a car wreck. The car flipped over and was crushed on impact, but when the car was flipping he got flung out of the window and landed in the grass unharmed. He said that he couldn't move and that he felt like a giant hand had grabbed his body. He said the grasp of the hand felt like it was on fire. The grasp of it actually burned him so much that you could see a vivid outline of it along his skin. It's not really the facts that makes people believe something but it is the actual experiences that change people.

  • Exactly, and that's why I find the whole argument silly. One side is anecdotal and one is logical. They argue because they don't mesh. The two sides don't understand the other side. I could never tell you the feeling of believing in God. I haven't experienced it. So I trust that the belief is good for you as an individual. You can't force yourself into believing something.

  • Wow, those typos. And I wouldn't say this is an argument. I would say we're talking about how the majority of this website is Christian. So no I didn't prove your point. I don't wish to argue about religion as many people who matter greatly to me are religious. I wouldn't want to take that feeling that they get away from anyone.
