could you be more specific as to why not? some feedback would be greatly appreciated.
-
It's dumb
-
how so? do you not like the idea of a healing/direct support based subclass?
-
All of it
-
but why. how can someone make something better when you don't comment in the least specific way? I'd love some feedback for this, but I can't read minds you know?
-
Take all of your ideas, and replace it with the original sunsinger class and abilities. That's how you make it better
-
ah okay.
-
I want a DPS or slaying subclass.
-
ah yes, well Voidwalker is a DPS, and stormcaller is good crowd control. besides, sunsinger was originally intended as a support subclass, bungie has admitted/said that numerous times whenever they adjust it. I can see a players attraction to a damage first subclass. to each their own :)
-
Um... No. Voidwalker is a slayer, and Stormcaller is weak DPS...
-
well, I suppose you could look at it that way. but couldn't they increase stormcallers effectiveness and maintain this subclass. you have to remember, this is theoretical and I doubt they would ever implement all or any of these ideas, but I truly wanted to make a healing subclass?
-
Nope Not with Destiny's recovery
-
this was just designed to increase recovery. you have to remember not all classes, in fact most players who don't main warlocks, go for a agility/toughness build. this means that they have to wait about 5 seconds to start restoring health VERY slowly after leaving combat.
-
The healing is too fast to have a healing subclass
-
for warlocks . . .
-
For all. It's less than 7 seconds no matter the recovery, and too quick to warrant a healing subclass
-
yes, an entire 7 seconds! but what if you want to maintain combat for longer? damage the boss for longer? take down more adds? push a control point more aggressively? A healing subclass would be intended for more mid-combat healing.
-
Destiny PvP and PvE is too fast for healing.
-
that would be besides the point in mid-combat . . .
-
We are too squishy for mid-combat healing too.
-
that is why you add mid-combat healing . . . imagine if you and an opponent go to combat. you throw a sanctuary grenade before the combat. on average, if two players with hand cannons go against each other, each one gets 2 head-shots and 1 body shot for a kill. 3 shots to kill. while standing in the sanctuary, by the time they fire the third shot, you have recovered enough health to tank it. you kill them with 3 shots as normal, but you survive with health to spare.
-
It doesn't work, and it's dumb.
-
okay.
