I think the whole celebrating like a family team doesnt support what you said at all. You can see many sports players act like this as well, and any other form of team or group. It has nothing to do with mexican heritage or whatever.
i completely disagree with your thought about halo.
Edited by Legend To None: 7/17/2016 4:02:46 PMMexican culture cares a lot about family and sticking together as people. Halo 5 expresses the same views as Fast and Furious does which is how strong a family is or the power of sticking together. In the Halo 5 campaign Chief forms his squad from old friends aka family and those friends stick with Cheif based on thier faith in him. Note Halo 5 Beta is a lot different than the released version. Halo 5 Beta was a lot about team work and sticking together. In the Halo 5 Beta players recieved XP based on how the team performed as a unit, not by how well one player did. I would get 10 xp for having 20 kills and 10 deaths in slayer. Then I would get 20 Xp for having 10 kills and 12 Deaths, becuase my team had a similar score. Then of course at the end the team work congrat each other, just to show a bond between the players although there was none. Of course 343 took this out and went back to the original formula similar to Halo 3 with ranking. Also in Beta the spartans used to call out helpful tips like player locations or power weapons, now they degraded the other spartans into hype men it..sucks. Yeah sports teams celebrate and some can become family, but that fact doesnt tarnish my point. This thought isn't like saying Jesus is Black. This isnt my "view" on Halo. I am only saying these Halos project mexican culture. It is weird how this Halo has decals for everything as if its a low-rider hahaha. That stands out to me and then I noticed how the characters interacted. Also for some reason every player I met on the beta spoke spanish. I think it was a MCC server isssue. That isnt my point just a clear region error on 343's part.

I still dont agree with what youre saying. I played the beta so i know what youre talking about but thats still just more of a team thing, and of course chief would make a squad out of his old buddies. They were his original squad. That doesnt relate to mexican culture.
