There are many theories to what SIVA truly is but we have no evidence, so I will make a theory providing evidence from actual science. SIVA is said to be a golden age breakthrough of self replicating nano technology. In real life the equivalent is described as: "Nano technology that takes any material changes its molecular structure and changes it into another material." It in real life would be used to reach a planet, harvest its resources replicate expand and then travel through out space to collect resources and send them back to us. If this were true I would assume the same for destiny. Without protocols or "mind" it would not be able to carry out its job, so I would assume that SIVA had some sort of AI behind it. I believe it wouldn't be a warmind considering that it wouldn't need to give such high of intelligence to a machine that carries out protocols. I think that warminds are more than AI. I have no proof that this is true but the AIs are smart but not Rasputin smart, you would have to have an AI create a more advanced AI. I think that's what Rasputin is. I'm going to go with that's what happened. In order to expand humanity they would have had to something like that. Assuming all this, I think the AI in control got corrupted and saw humanity as a threat, therefor it tried to kill us. The Iron Lords weren't special to it the AI saw them as a threat and tried to kill them. SIVA may at its core be a corrupt AI that used its technology to transform itself into a god like being advancing its self more and more. Until it hit "enlightenment." we may have to take down the physical structure that it built its self after killing its most powerful fallen devil splicers. Hope you found it at least interesting.
