The thing people dont get with SBMM is it doesnt cause laggy games for everyone.
Half the scrubs on here who say "leave it SBMM is good" arent even impacted by it because they are a majority when it comes to their skill lvl.
The big thing i think it SBMM impacts the top lvl players who stream and make yt videos (also the ones who dont) and its really bad advertisement for Bungie when games take for ever to find a lobby then when you get in you have laggy players everywhere.
Theres no reason everyone who plays this game shouldnt be able to go into games which have good connection, yes you will get the odd game where theres laggy people anyway but it CBMM should be a priority.
Skill based matchmaking is fine. People exaggerate the amount of lag. They just want to blame someone other than themselves for their poor gameplay. I guarantee that the same people will still be crying foul if they change to CBMM. They won't know what to do once they start playing people that are much better than they are.
Is there lag? Yes, occasionally.
Is it game breaking? Rarely.
My idea is make sbmm a little more lenient, but also make connection more of a priority. That way you can still crush a few noobs every few games but you don't have lag.
