Oh my God! Can't believe it! My neighbour is a 73 year old woman who usually spends most of the day in her back garden. My brother who is a huge Pokemon fan ( I'm not really into it ) downloaded Pokemon Go and found out that his favourite Pokemon, Squirtle, Was in my neighbours garden.
Now it would be wierd to ask "Maam, may I go into your back garden to catch a Pokemon?" So he leaped over the fence that seperates our house and her's and proceeded to catch the Squirtle.
When he was looking at his phone, the woman came out of her house, shouted a few things and slowly walked over to my brother. Thats all I saw because I didn't want to be seen by the woman, but my brother who came back 5 minutes later said to me that she was going to report him to the police for tresspassing!
Still no word from the police ;)

"get off my property!!! Young punks......"
-
Huh, this title could be perceived as sexual if you look at the title differently ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) "Squirtle" "Back garden" oh yeah bb, sounds like my type of lady ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Because everybody wants random kids in their backyard.
-
Does traveling fast in a car on the freeway increase the chances of a Pokémon running away? I was on the freeway today with an incense on for about an hour, going 60-70 mph and every single Pokémon I encountered only let me toss one ball at it before it would immediately run away no matter how good my throw was. It's this normal!?
-
We've all jumped over a fence to retrieve a ball, but this is... different...
-
I can't even play it. I'll have it on for hours on my room and walking around but none show up.
-
So, wait. You're saying he didn't catch a Squirtle as a starting Pokemon?
-
I have a paintball gun. -blam!- calling the cops I'll tag any kid that comes to steal Pokemon from my yard.
-
There is a rather large radius you can catch pokemon from. Unless her back yard was huge there is no reason to go into her yard. The radius is large enough to cover my entire apt building + some of the yard on both sides.
-
She's in the right and has your brother trespassed in her garden since?
-
He deserved to be arrested. What a twat.
-
Your little brother is an idiot. Not only that, you are an idiot for not telling him he's an idiot for jumping the fence into an elderly woman's back yard without her knowing. Idiot.
-
You do know your brother is in the wrong for trespassing don't you?
-
Generally you're not suppose to jump over someone's backyard. That's simply trespassing and should never have been done. However I think the women was just trying to scare him off. I mean after all she is your neighbor, and I don't know about you but I have a good relationship with my neighbors. If they saw me do it they would probably question me but I doubt the would mind. Nevertheless, trespassing IS illegal, so, play smart, and play safe. :)

If you just downloaded it, then it must have been a starter. You do realize you don't have to stand next to it to be able to catch it, right? There's a pretty wide radius that you can get Pokemon. If the Pokemon appears, then you can just tap it to be able to get it.

Note to self: invest in an electric fence
-
Did the same myself but with a wedding In a park. The conversation went like this: >Hey you can't be in here >I'll be just a second I'm trying to catch a blastoise.
wort
-
Im surprised no one in my area invaded the yard yet.
-
I'd just look be like: "pokemon go?" Your bro "yup" "What pokemon" Bro "Blastoise" "Hell yeah! Ima catch that shit too" *proceed to gather friends and go on an adventure*
-
Tell you brother he's an idiot he can just stand next to the fence on your side and catch them from there
-
You realize if it's that close just tell your brother to click on the damn Pokémon. You don't need to have it in your radius. You could be 20 feet away and still tap it to catch. Pokemon dont appear anywhere besides on the screen, there was no need to go into her back yard. Let your brother know it's a-lot simpler than it seems.
-
why? you can just pick squirtle as your starter lol

Edited by Prime Cheeks: 7/10/2016 6:41:32 PMThis "Pokemon Go" is gonna get kids into so much trouble lmao. People are actually gonna have a solid reason to hate gaming now
-
I dont blame her.
-
YOU CAN JUST TAP IT FFS. But seriously, first time I thought u had to walk straight up to it, and was standing I. The street for 5-10 minutes trying to catch it.
