Recent Nerfs and Buffs to Classes Feedback

Greetings Bungie, None other than your friendly Bladedancer here to give you some feedback about these recent updates and changes you’ve made. I agreed with the sticky tripmines since yes they are mines and not formal grenades. Granted I’ll miss sticking them to Cabal in PvE but the changes were necessary, at least they still arm when thrown. The damage nerf was also very noticeable. At least now I feel like I have a decent survival rate when encountering them and I noticed I haven’t been killing myself with them so much also. So thanks for that. About that Shadestep nerf, although I only use my NS for PvE I can say that nerf hurt quite a bit. Hunters are supposed to be dodgy and evasive, besides, it’s not as if they’re invincible during shadestep. But that is my personal opinion. Many thanks for those Bladedancer buffs, I can take the -1 recovery in trade off for my favorite move. But in PvE I’m actually generating more than 2 orbs for once! Thank you for giving Sun Breakers a buff but I frankly believe they need more, I’ll make a separate post about it but a hammer was tossed at me, hit literally right next to me and only took ½ my shield out. Quite frankly I should have been dead. All around I want to thank the devs for giving all subclasses a boost to our Super damage in both PvP and especially in PvE, Golden Gun is much more viable now!! And thank you for giving Sun Breakers a buff too! (Personally don’t play a Titan much) but I enjoyed fleeing for my life during the Sun Breaker Golden Days. It was a fun challenge that I was willing to take up as a frail Hunter. But I must throw it in, please buff Landfall again. I find the only efficient way to combat a Defender (if I’m not suppressed) is to suicide into the bubble Bladedancing in hope I catch them off guard and push them out. And I’d like if we can have more counters. I’ve talked to quite a few people who agree that If that Stormcaller gets that close to your Bubble that’s your problem. Have to pay attention to your combat situation. But to the matter at hand that I want to get to. As always a small part of the community is hollering for more nerfs because they’ve found something new to holler about. I’ve been noticing that there’s been complaints recently about shoulder charge with Titans and additional complaints about Warlocks and moreover, just complaints in general. It seems now that more nerfs were handed out people are finding something new to complain about. And I wanted to take this time to say, (as I’m sure Bungie knows) people complain and always will, I know a decent number of the Destiny community are youngsters and as a lot of them aren’t very mature are going to whine about something that’s making them unhappy because it's "too hard". And I also mean any immature peeps (even the adults out there). Titan skating is a great a skillful tactic that needs to stay in the game to give Titans that agility boost. I don’t want to mow down a Titan because they’re too slow. Besides that, a panic FoH or a shotgun at the right time can do away with Bladedancers or anyone else trying to get that close. There’s counters for everything and people just need to revise their strategies and approach things differently. I understand Bungie wants to do their best to please the general Destiny community but often than not, those voices who scream the loudest are not the voices of everyone. I would consider either sending out a poll or some kind of survey when considering a nerf. Give the entire community a chance to respond to a proposed situation and see the arguments for and against. And then make your decision. Also another proposed idea when handling nerfs and buff. Instead of releasing to everyone about what the nerfs/buff will be a few weeks ahead of time do it the opposite way. Have them take affect and then see what the community starts to respond with. I believe this is a much more effective way of handing this kind of situation as releasing details of nerfs, greatly affect the meta of the game and thus is difficult to get unbiased and accurate results. That way, those people who are complaining just for the sake of complaining, perhaps their blame will be totally misplaced and their harsh criticism can be dismissed. Recently just seems like people are up in arms and the cycle of blame keeps revolving. I appreciate it very much if Bungie could somehow help the situation. Thank for taking the time to read this.
