Exotic Scout Rifle The Galactic Singularity "Since we're stuck here, we might as well make to best of it." Rate of Fire: 50 Impact: 38 Range: 68 Stability: 38 Reload: 50 Tier 0: The Big Dipper: Every shot fired from this weapon deals random elemental damage. Tier 1: Smooth Ballistics Field Choke Aggresive Ballistics Tier 2: Dubhe: Polaris deals Arc damage more often. (50%) Merak: Polaris deals Void damage more often. (50%) Phecda: Polaris deals Solar damage more often. (50%) Tier 3: Perfect Balance Hidden Hand Smallbore Tier 4: Megrez: Polaris deals Arc damage even more often. (50%) Alioth: Polaris deals Void damage even more often. (50%) Mizar: Polaris deals Solar damage even more often. (50%) Tier 5: Benetnasch: If at least half of the rounds in the magazine deal damage matching a shield, damage with the next magazine is doubled. Tier 6: Polaris: Rounds fired from this weapon can deal precision damage through shields, if the bullet matches the shield. Alcor: Disables all tier 2, and 4 perks, making the weapon fire shots at an equal but random ratio. Explanation: Many players; myself included, really miss elemental primaries, so why not make an exotic that is just that? I also had a little fun with this one, bringing RNG into this gun, pretty fitting if you ask me. You can adjust your chances with the actual elements fired, even making the weapon into a pure Arc, Solar, or Void weapon, make it deal a 50/50 ratio of two elements, or make it just fire randomly. Also, dealing damage matching a shield rewards the player greatly, and can even negate shields entirely. I had fun with this one, so I guess that's what matters! Overall: I'd say this is a gambler's weapon, and I honestly had a lot of fun writing it!
#writemyexotichistory
• My opinion: - There was a fusion rifle from crota's end that could switch between solar and arc. Just add void on the 0 column and be done with it. - Polaris Rounds sounds like a awesome perk, so I recommend for pvp making it subclass based, but if you're making it like this there should also be debuff when it's a different shield like in raids. Maybe make it a body bullet more and a body bullet less to make it not completely broken. - Also the rate of fire should be 52 35 for high rof or 48 38 for MIDA.

 • .. Geez I just started the first one! XD This sounds pretty interesting though it may be a bit too dynamic of a weapon (I'd simply have just Polaris and the other perks and have one other column to increase the chance of Void, Solar, Arc, and an equal mix) Otherwise this is a cool exotic! What kind of story do you have in mind? (It will be a WHILE before I can get to this one)

 • Yeah, there's a bit too much here. Ah well, I guess it works. Story wise, I was thinking it could be a weapon created from the light that stars give off, particularly the big dipper, hence the perk names. Maybe it was made by a Hunter who was more interested in exploring than fighting? Also, take as long as you need man.

 • It does work I'd say simplify it to make it easier for people to understand and use And that sounds like an interesting premise, I like the slower stories, gives me a break from the action stuff. And thanks for understanding, I'm just backed up on orders at the moment

 • Maybe I should cut out the fourth line of perks, and make all the perks in the second tier remove an element from the chances. It has the same effect I want in less perks.
