It was about Britain's sovereignty and more importantly culture.
Now a more entertaining way of saying this is in the video.
Simply pute it was about the British people wanting control of Britain. Not some massive govt telling them what to do. Same culturally. It was the socially acceptable thing to say remain. But the middle class being the ones to take the biggest brunt of the decision either way said,
-blam!- you, you posh queer and your downtown abby ass house
Good for you Britain. I'm proud of you, as a Texan and American.

1 ReplyTexas is ineligible to secede due to the post civil war rules for rejoining the union.

9 RepliesMost of the polling seems to indicate that the exit voters voted that way mostly due to immigrants.
-
4 RepliesIf they actually go through with this I hope Scotland secedes and stays in. The Brexit is pointless and stupid, the UK still has to follow almost all EU regulations in order to trade but just gave up their negotiating power.

I really don't care about that kind of stuff. So... bump.

The EU never did tell us want to do. The EU bigwigs hate us because we always didn't go whatever they wanted. However, the benefits we did get far out weighed being "in" rather than "out". What eventually tipped the vote was immigration, the whole soverignty thing was merely a polite way of 'we just want to stop the tide of EU immigrants!' Oh and a few protest votes against the government, which those individuals now regret. The biggest issue we got now is a 50/50 divide. It's going to years for one side to forgive the other, since its possible Brexit may not even happen after all.

They were gonna mess with our tea.
