Essential 3v3, 6v6, & FFA Modes for Crucible

If you play Crucible, be sure to give this a read. Bungie, these are the game modes that have helped to make every successful shooting game thrive. Halo had some of them, and many were around long before. I've added a Destiny twist just to make some of them more unique while keeping them relatively simple. Edited- It's been awhile since I updated this. Mayhem and Inferno would both be modifiers that could be added on to many of these modes for a twist. A few modes have been removed with the creation of Rift and Zone control. If you are a player of Crucible and you don't mind waiting up to a year for these modes to be implemented please bump to keep this alive. I know I'm not the only one who would gladly shell out 20$ for a Crucible overhaul expansion. Game Modes Supporting 3v3 Capture the Ghost- CtF style gameplay with a twist. The Ghost follows above and behind the carrier and is able to take damage. If it gets destroyed it must be revived before being escorted further to the team base. The ghost does not reset position on its own but must actively be returned to the home base. Unique Scoring Destroying a ghost will result in a 50 point loss. (Enemies gain 50 points) Capturing the ghost will result in a 500 point gain. Preventing a capture and returning the flag will result in a 200 point gain. Blademaster- Juggernaut style gameplay where the juggernaut is treated as a ViP. After 30 seconds a sword spawns and whoever picks it up gains extra points per kill. Killing the blademaster gives the player who killed him an even larger amount of points. The Blademaster doesn't gain higher armor but their health constantly recovers and movement speed is increased making it possible to take out multiple opponents if they're careful but not making it a skilless task. When the blademaster dies, the sword despawns for 20 seconds. Unique Scoring Killing an enemy with the Sword will give 75 Extra points. Killing a Blademaster will give 150 Extra points. Game Modes Supporting FFA Escort- Oddball style gameplay. (For those who don't know) A single objective is placed on the map and the goal of the game is to hold onto it as long as possible. Points are not scored for killing, but for holding the objective. Each second you are granted points. When a player dies the item is dropped and can be picked up by other players. It will spawn in a random location if it isn't picked up within 15 seconds. Unique Scoring 10 Points will be earned every second that the item is held. Emperor- King of the Hill style gameplay. A random area is designated as a score zone. While inside that zone the user earns points for holding it down. Kills either attacking or defending the zone grant bonus points. Zones relocate every 30 seconds of being held. Unique Scoring Capturing a zone grants 200 points. Earning a kill while defending a zone grants a bonus 100 points. Earning a kill while attacking a zone grants a bonus 100 points. Standing inside of a zone grants 10 points every second. Overall, this would create the following game modes for Crucible. 2v2 Doubles Skirmish Doubles Salvage 6v6 Control Clash Combined Arms (On Cycle) Rift Zone Control 3v3 Capture the Ghost Skirmish Elimination Salvage Blademaster (On Cycle) 6 Player FFA Rumble Escort (make permanent) Emperor (on Cycle)
