Remember how fast paced year one was? It was actually exciting. Remember when there wasn't three to six red glares waiting for you take a corner EVERYWHERE? Remember when guardians used their primaries more because they were actually powerful? Remember when you could challenge a sniper when they couldn't just body shot and finish you off with one bullet? Remember when the best counter to snipers actually had a chance without the need of a shield on one subclass? Do you remember? Because I'm starting to forget. If you have any points to make, please say them in a mature manner. I know how this forum gets ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I think special ammo should be removed outright. You spawn with a full mag and a reload, that's it.

We had to play the close game against blink and shotgun which were by far superior at the time. If you couldnt handle a primary at close range, learn to backtrack and dodge you would die. Sniping required finesse. Now its just sit and wait, no one will push and if they do shoot you the flinch wont do a thing.

I sniped a lot in Y1 Loved my Icebreaker and used it all the time But in Y2 I dont like snipin anymore... Before Y2 sniping was not hardscoping until some runs into it you actually aimed when you saw an enemy in the distance

Idk about ruin but it definitely slows the flow of a match if all 12 ppl are sniping. I snipe quite alot but I play as a aggressive sniper I move after I get the kill but what I hate is the guys who sit and hard scope for what seems to be the entire match

I find the crucible to be faster paced nowadays. With high rof autos and pulses (and MIDA and TLW) dominant this game is now really fast paced. Yes, snipers are all over. But ive been able to overcome with speed

The only thing i hate about snipers is when i get close range wrecked by one. Its rare; but really annoying when it happens. I used to really hate snipers; but if you can't beat em........join em. I'm not a great sniper at all. But there is just such a great feeling associated with targeting someone who doesnt see you, then popping their skull just as they turn to say ohhh faaaak.

There just needs to be some downside to using snipers and shotguns. Sway, breathing, increased dmg taken for shotgunners... I don't really have any good ideas but as it stands right now snipers have the most aim assist and are easy mode kills. This game is a quickscopers dream as snipers always scope in on target. I can't run and jump snipe like this in CoD or BF... Shotgunners are just stupid how they can sneak up behind and just 1 shot you, or slide right into you before you can kill them and do the same. Primaries have tons of disadvantages, recoil, range, low dmg, etc... But snipers and shotguns have the perfect package for what they are meant to do and have no penalties currently. They should be high risk/skill but high reward.

Yes and no. I agree that there are way more hard-scoping snipers nowadays, but they were there before. The issue is that other weapon types were much more dangerous *cough cough, shotguns*, thus making the users of said weapon play much more aggressively. You really didn't see camping shotgun users in the Felwinter's day. The sniper user was always there, always waiting. What's changed is us.

Bungie continuously nerf shotguns because whiny hardscoper bltch that think aiming all day and get a kill is skill, that's not skill. They have to brought back shot package then this game will become more fast and more fun to play. A lot of this hardscoper are Y2 baby not Y1 peoples that know what mean playing this game.
