A poll for hunters, regarding Iron Banner since the update (Nevermind Bungie Cancelled it!)
I use all three characters. But, I am curious as to how you are adapting on your hunter since the recent update.
I am trying to adapt with my hunter but haven't really figured it out yet. I usually main a gunslinger on my hunter. That's been my preference ever since long ago when bladedancer was nerfed (way back when) I currently don't have problems with throwing knife kills. Grenades are just there, only good one is incendiary now .
So how are you adapting? If you have some new techniques, please feel free to share. :) I know I would appreciate it and I am sure others will as well.

Switched a few bannannas back only change I've made is recent is going from blink to better control and using bones of eao, switch it up between shotty and sniper (ended a GG from stopping my buddy's killstreak with an awesome quick scope) My load out: Primary: eyasluna or first curse Secondary: defiance of Yasmin or binary dawn Heavy: bretomarts stand Exotic armor: bones of eao Class: blade dancer Better control Vanish Fast twitch Weapons ready immediately Hungering blade

I've always used trip mines as trip mines, since sticking people with them was extremely difficult without magnetism. But since I started using NLB, Ive been using Nightstalker more often, with Keen Scout and Spike Grenades. I think I might like spike grenades a bit more than trip mines now! Kinda wish Spines of Young Ahamkara were a universal armor piece now.

For bladedancer I have been running invisibility to sneak into concentrated zones and wreck. The update requires more strat to be good

Just changed a few perks on my gunslinger, took some advice to use deadeye rather than combustion, gotten used to the new knife damage and switched to swarm grenades

I still use my tripmines. Had to figure out a way to make them effective. So now if i know.i can peg someone with one i shoot them once or twice. Or occasionally if I'm sitting in an area. (Waiting for the heavy ammo for instance.) I'll plant one behind a cornier where they can't easily ahoot it and aim my scout rifle where they'll be coming from. Still miss yhe satisfaction of seeing the get it off medal pop up. But it works.

1 ReplyI've dropped my nightstalker and swapped to blade dancer and the first curse, the high impact pairs well with my skip nades, fast twitch and my sniper, plus it comes with QuickDraw so I can use fleet footed and out move shotgunners

Edited by Brother Vance: 6/23/2016 10:35:51 PMThe melee range took a bit of getting used to & there are times when you damage someone with skip grenades to a point that would've killed the person before the nerf that isn't now. But the super is more effective than it has been in all of y2 so that's good. I'll keep using it since quickdraw is amazing for sniping, but if bladedancer gets any more nerfs it should just be removed from the game because obviously the devs don't think it should exist. I'm pretty sure blade has been nerfed more times than any 2 subclasses put together at this point.....

I never used shadestep with nightstalker so I'm fine, I might run GG when IB comes back though.

Nothing really changed. Skip grenades are a little less reliant, but they still get the job done.

2 RepliesI honestly haven't noticed like a life changing difference. I quit using tripmines a while ago. Although o don't know if bungie purpisley nerfed the dot on incendiary grenades its no longer ticking correctly

I mess around in crucible a little bit not a ton otherwise. I haven't noticed too much of a difference between the two versions post update.
