I feel as if this post is going to trigger many people so don't get salty. Both consoles deserve something unique to have to them. I know Xbox gets things a year late but at least give those players something to have while PlayStation has fun with theirs. It's unfair (imo) to "restrict" one console from getting things at the same time another one gets it.

1 ReplyLmao so Microsoft getting tomb raider for a year wasn't fair either but I won't be on their forums if they had any and cry it's unfair! Suck it up princess it was a business deal with Sony and Microsoft getting exclusives could breach that contract/deal so stop beating the extremely dead horse

5 RepliesSony paid big bucks for exclusives. Microsoft needs to step up. Welcome to the real world. Don't get eaten alive.

Sony paid, Microsoft didn't, it's as simple as that

Hey you know what I think? I think ps4 should get all the halo games in one nice neat little package. I also think ps4 should get all the Zelda games and smash brothers also!
-
Xbox isn't restricted from anything. Sony is paying for extra stuff We're getting the exact same content at the exact same price, and then Sony forks over some extra cash for their console. It's simply a business transaction and Sony decided to do something that Microsoft wouldn't.
-
I'm really just saying that they should restrict PlayStation from having certain things as well.
-
Saying this as an Xbox user, it's simply business. Sony got their first and had more $$$

Xbox don't deserve destiny exclusives. Sony paid for them so they should get them. How pissed would Sony be if Bungie gave Xbox some exclusives. I know I'd be pissed if I gave someone some money to get some exclusive loot and that person gave the loot to someone else because they didn't like me having it even though I'd paid for it.......

4 RepliesEdited by combatticus: 6/18/2016 11:25:25 AMIts not Sony's fault that Microsoft shelled out all their exclusive-buying cash on the utter failure that was TitanFall.

It's unfair WAAAAAAAAAA. Welcome to the real world where money talks. This is the product of being coddled all your life.
-
Don't care but if I have to say yes or no then no.....

I'm getting really tired of seeing posts like this. Bungie, activision and Sony have a contract that allows playstation users to have exclusive content. Sony pays them extra to have this exclusive content. Microsoft does not have this contract with bungie and activision so Xbox users don't get access to these items until a later date. (Which is every year). And you want to know what you're missing out on? One primary exotic, one special exotic, one strike, and a set of legendary armor for each class. Big whoop. If you really want exclusive content on xbox that bad you should write MICROSOFT, not bungie, because they would be the ones that would have to pay extra for the extra content.
-
Thats a Microsoft issue, tell them to pay Activision for exclusive content. Bungie can't do anything but obey Activision.

Edited by owen_legend: 6/18/2016 11:04:10 AMThe point of exclusives is to sell more of that version and by proxy - more of that console. The experience of the game is not considered and it is purely a business/marketing scheme. With exclusives, us, the gamers always lose out as a whole. Xbox exclusives are never going to happen as long as the current contract is in place
