A serious talk about PS exclusives
Before anything, yes I have my own gripes about this game. But everyone does. Doesn't mean it still isn't a great game. I for one truly do love this game and everything Bungie is doing. But I can't deny that I have a little salt about the PS getting exclusive strikes and gear. To me, there is no Xbox. There is no Playstation. There is Destiny. I am a Guardian among many in the Vanguard. A Solider in the Iron Banner. A burning Light against the Darkness. And I feel that's ultimately what Bungie wanted me to feel with the release of this game. Since the release of this game, other games just haven't touched me the way this game has done so many times. But when I see Playstation guardians with their own unique gear and access to strikes and Lore I can't? I feel like it is a great injustice towards us of the Xbox. While I understand Microsoft really gave Bungie the shaft in a big way. I don't feel they should punish us who still use the Xbox. Which is exactly how it feels. We are being punished for the sins of Microsoft. And that just does not seem fair at all. Now granted, I do understand that Playstation does not get much more. But the fact remains that they get more than us. And ultimately it is because Bungie is rather, and justifiably so, pissed at Microsoft. And their way of sticking it to them, is only hurting loyal Guardians on the Xbox. And that is really it. So please Bungie, end the exclusive content. We as a whole must already deal with separation of game world's due to console choice. Must we, your loyal guardians, suffer more injustice because of a feud?

I'm just going to leave this here .... What exactly is stopping Microsoft from making their own deal for Xbox exclusives? If Sony and Bungie made a deal and agreed that exclusives would never be given to Xbox no matter how much Microsoft paid, bummer. But if no such deal exists, all Microsoft has to do is pay up. It's like Battlefield players complaining Jeep has a CoD edition.

Here is a thought, if you want the exclusives buy a ps4. This is the exact reason for Sony to spend more cash, is to entice more people to purchase their console, because market share in business is everything

I'd rather have functioning mods for Fallout and Halo than these BS exclusives, we get some Guns and armor, most everything else is just tedious strikes and bad maps.

You are a special kind of stupid aren't you? For two years this dead horse has been beaten into the ground. Playstation paid extra, that is right, Playstation paid Bungie/Activision EXTRA money for Playstation to get exclusive content one year ahead of xbox. Was it to screw xbox? Maybe, was it a smart financial decision by both Playstation & bungie/Activision? Yes it was. Bungie/Activision cannot stop the PS Exclusives until the contract is up. I believe it is a ten year contract & there is just over seven remaining.

This is Sony paying Bungie for the exclusive content. It was also offered to Microsoft but they declined to pay for it. It's amazing how many of these whining, ignorant posts keep surfacing. You aren't being punished, Bungie doesn't like Xbox less, it's a simple matter of business and Microsoft declined to do that business. You want to piss your pants and ask why someone doesn't love you? Go cry here: https://forums.xbox.com/ At least target the right people. Ask them why they didn't want you to have to extras.

Actually it's because Bungie asked for money to provide exclusives. Sony payed and MS did not. I don't know the exact detail of the deal, but it's not just Bungie giving MS the middle finger. Like everything in business it's about money.

Life isn't fair, OP. You said it yourself. Besides, nothing that is exclusive for PS is worth any tears and you will get it come September most likely. I don't understand why Xbox players get their feelings hurt over this shit.
