[BUNGIE] Destiny Update 2.3.0 Known Issues

Hello all, The following issues have been resolved through server side changes and Hotfix 2.3.0.1: • An issue causing players experiencing a spike in Honeydew and Panther errors when attempting to play Strike and Raid activities on Monday June 20th, 2016. • Passage Coins not dropping when completing Daily Crucible Activities. • Character data failing to load within activities, causing the following symptoms: • Weapons inflicting minimal damage to opponents in Crucible Activities. • Players taking too much damage from enemies in PvE/PvP Activities. • Players experiencing crashes when inspecting or matchmaking into activities that had large number of friends playing them. With this resolved, Trials of Osiris will be returning to its regular schedule. We are continuing to investigate the following issues: •Players are not receiving Legendary Marks when completing the Daily Heroic Story Missions Paradox or Lost to Light. Until resolved, Legendary Mark rewards will be granted via Postmaster at a later date to those who complete the Daily Heroic activity when one of these missions is featured. • Players are unable to progress Quests where the next step is to complete the Daily Heroic Story Mission, while either Paradox or Lost to Light are the active Daily Heroic Story Missions. • Some players who completed a Refer-a-Friend links on Bungie.net between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM PDT on June 10th, 2016, are unable to retrieve their Quest from the Speaker in the Tower. This issue does not impact the 7 day Referee eligibility time period for impacted players. • Damage over Time from Solar Subclass Abilities being unintentionally reduced with Update 2.3.0. Below is the original post and previous updates:
6/20/16 Last weekend, we encountered an issue that interrupted regular service for Trials of Osiris. We're investigating a fix, but it won't arrive in time for Iron Banner. The previously announced event for this week has been cancelled. Additionally, we are investigating a rise in HONEYDEW and PANTHER error codes when attempting to play certain activities.

(Updated as of 6/19) We are aware that players are not receiving Legendary Marks for completing the 6/19 Daily Heroic Story Mission: Paradox. Legendary Marks for completing this mission will be granted to the Postmaster of participating players on 6/24.

(Updated as of 6/18 at 1:20 PM) Trials of Osiris has been temporarily disabled as we investigate an issue that is preventing some players from joining matches. We have determined that the issues impacting Trials of Osiris cannot be fixed before the end of the weekend. As such, Trials of Osiris will remain disabled through the weekly reset on Tuesday at 2:00 AM PDT.   We apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to keep you updated via this thread and @BungieHelp on Twitter.

Destiny Player Support is currently investigating the following issues: • Players unable to launch activities due to Character Data failing to load in Orbit • Character Data failing to load within activities: Other players appearing as silhouettes. • Weapons inflicting 1 damage to opponents within Crucible activities If you are experiencing these issues, please post a reply to this thread with the following information: • The issue you are experiencing • Which Console Platform you are experiencing this on • If applicable, a link to the PGCR of your game. This may be found under the "Stats" page of your bungie.net Legend. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will update this thread when more information is available. (Update 6/15) 3:00 PM PDT: A change has been put in place that should resolve Character Data not loading properly, as well as other players appearing as silhouettes. Players must RETURN TO ORBIT for these changes to take effect. If you are still witnessing these issues, please reply to this thread with a link to the game in which you've witnessed the issues recurring. You may find a link under the 'stats' page of your guardians Legend on Bungie.net. 2:00 PM PDT: Investigations continue concerning the issues listed above. • Some players have reported that leaving their clans may resolve these issues. Please note: We have also witnessed reports that rejoining a clan may cause this issue to occur once more. • A change has been put in place that should resolve the issue where players may not access activities due to Character Data failing to load in Orbit. If you are continuing to see this issue, please let us know in the form of a comment below. (Updated as of 6/18) Trials of Osiris has been temporarily disabled as we investigate an issue that is preventing some players from joining matches. This game is getting less and less fun with every patch. I thought Challenge of Elders was the most fun and rewarding thing they have added to this game since year 1, and with the change they made on this patch it is no longer fun. Complete waste of time. Sometimes I wonder if Bungie gets a kick out of teasing us with something enjoyable then taking it away. I was completely ready to preorder Rise of Iron but after this patch I'm not so sure. Good game Bungie, continue taking the fun out of this game so that I can finally move on to other games. I've been playing since the beta and have logged thousands of hours, in yera one I regularly spent 40 plus hours a week playing this game. I enjoyed feeling powerful and having powerful weapons, elemental primaries for different situations. This game used to be very fun, now I have no friends left willing to do the things that require fireteams, so a majority of the relevant content is locked out for me, and you refuse to add match making regardless of the fact that most of the community would love to have matchmaking options. I will probably still buy Rise of Iron but if I don't start having fun in this game again, you can count me out for Destiny 2. I know that losing one customer means nothing but for the record, I purchased 3 PS4s and 3 coppies of Destiny plus all additional content for each console so that I could play this game with my wife and children, and now they refuse to play most of the time because of the changes that have been made. I hope you start moving back in the right direction. Thanks for reading.
