[BUNGIE] Destiny Update 2.3.0 Known Issues

Hello all, [b]The following issues have been resolved through server side changes and Hotfix 2.3.0.1:[/b] • An issue causing players experiencing a spike in Honeydew and Panther errors when attempting to play Strike and Raid activities on Monday June 20th, 2016. • Passage Coins not dropping when completing Daily Crucible Activities. • Character data failing to load within activities, causing the following symptoms: • Weapons inflicting minimal damage to opponents in Crucible Activities. • Players taking too much damage from enemies in PvE/PvP Activities. • Players experiencing crashes when inspecting or matchmaking into activities that had large number of friends playing them. With this resolved, Trials of Osiris will be returning to its regular schedule. [b]We are continuing to investigate the following issues:[/b] •Players are not receiving Legendary Marks when completing the Daily Heroic Story Missions Paradox or Lost to Light. Until resolved, Legendary Mark rewards will be granted via Postmaster at a later date to those who complete the Daily Heroic activity when one of these missions is featured. • Players are unable to progress Quests where the next step is to complete the Daily Heroic Story Mission, while either Paradox or Lost to Light are the active Daily Heroic Story Missions. • Some players who completed a Refer-a-Friend links on Bungie.net between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM PDT on June 10th, 2016, are unable to retrieve their Quest from the Speaker in the Tower. This issue does not impact the 7 day Referee eligibility time period for impacted players. • Damage over Time from Solar Subclass Abilities being unintentionally reduced with Update 2.3.0.     • Bungee, your game is currently very broken. I don't know anyone able to get in. I play on ps4 and am getting weasel / centipede and chicks error codes... Started earlier I. The week getting "contacting destiny servers" A LOT!

    • i just legit got a loss on a trials card without even playing a game where i lost after loosing my mercy because of the contacting destiny servers

    • Started a new topic: fate funzionare i server

    • Receiving "Contacting Destiny Servers" error over and over (about every 5 seconds or so) for the last 10 minutes. Currently at the tower and there are 0 guardians here. It started towards the end of level 36 Malok Strike on XBOX One. As I'm typing this, I just got +10 Glimmer and my light level bar just appeared (took about 3 minutes). I am just literally standing at the spot I spawned in, in the tower. Error is still coming up.

      So I keep getting error code weasel and anteater (after a spam of "contacting destiny servers" which I thought was fixed) and now the companion app says my account isn't linked to my destiny character (xbox one) Bungie you need to do something about your servers all this maintenance and crap is getting on my nerves (surprised it hasn't already...)

    • Faced multiple issues with Iron Banner last night: -Wins did not award reputation gains, and were not counted for Iron Banner or Crucible bounties. -Losses did not give medallions -No drops post match. Sometimes drops were given upon returning to orbit, but most of the time not. -Error code anteater -Contacting Destiny servers came up regularly -Long delay on switching gear, completing bounties, turning in bounties or picking up bounties from vendors

[/quote][/quote] So I was in court of oryx and during the duration of the session I acquired two antiquated runes but they didn't show up in my inventory or postmaster. Idk if there was an update that made it to where you can only have one antiquated rune in your inventory but I'm beyond mad at this antiquated rune deal and them disappearing from me

      • I slept through the maintenance and I think it improved, before it I did get weaseled out about 4 times (which has not happend in forever. Most of the connection seemed stable, I know you can't fix other people's connection but I still feel the damage referee is on holiday...still better than a few days ago...keep it up so I can grind victories this weekend.

        Ever since this patch Crucible got so much worse for me (Xbox 1) and I run a privatized maxed out optical fiber connection. Now I still keep getting the new issue "Contacting Destiny Servers" in about half my matches (Iron Banner, Salvage, Rumble and Free for All) and usually when this happens there is heavy lag, all are green bars but don't behave like that. I can't inflict damage, normal situations where I come on top or at least trade now end in them killing me (like I give a full shoulder charge, it connects and enemy takes no damage and kills me in one hit with normal melee attack). I had rockets not deal damage. I just won a salvage match where a team mate was lagging so hard he could not die and was disabling the enemy drones while being dead (I reported him). Now again anytime i get this contacting destiny servers the lag becomes too hectic and usually goes in favor of my enemy. Even if it goes to favor for me I don't like it, i Don't enjoy playing like this. Recently I reported to players already for having their supers in the first 20 seconds of a normal match (not mayhem) and even recorded one instance. Also I keep getting two shot by most hand cannons. I am 25 years old so I know how to count. Example one player hit me with ace of spades and gave me damage like a black spindle body shot (I inspected him he was using shotgun and ace of spades) and he shot me from afar (no other players around) I am a dedicated player been playing literally for over a year. Did almost everything here and am trying to complete my last few grimoire points and they are becoming increasingly hard to get because I keep loosing to stuff. Also matchmaking is really broken. Skill level is crap cause I keep getting team mates that act as if they never played the game while actually the enemy team are on my level to even higher and I don't find that fare or enjoyable. Not like PVP is fare but its a ton of times favored for my enemy team rather than me. And don't get me started on the rumble matches I keep getting. I'm not trying to be a hater or anything now, I just wish you could stabilize the server connection over here in Europe (Central/Eastern Europe) where I live and try to play so that at least the competitive level is even, and if not than at least that the lag does not support the laggers and take away from a great experience. I know you are busy but this should take priority now, not the future (cause the next few months will determine how the Destiny Experience progresses) and I know you want to make it the most valuable and not loose new comers to bad lag and issues.
