Honestly, all these new dashboard features sound cool, but it's all novelty. The LFG is probably the only part that will consistently be used by the community.
I see it the rest of it the same as when they announced 'Record That', it was awesome and everyone used it... Now? Well now, I doubt anyone would truly give a shit if they removed it.
As for the Scorpio... Hmm... Sounds too good too be true. I'll wait for full specs and details.
That being said, I can't see this selling at any price - low or high - if you can't alter the graphics and such yourself.
A console that gives you at least similar in game options to a PC will sell hard. I guess there's a few problems with implementing that, though.

Why would you want to change the graphics? That isn't the point. PC graphics with console accessibility.

Edited by Psyntifik: 6/14/2016 9:52:27 PMThat's what concerns me. Is it PC graphics? Consoles sell on accessibility, easy of use and price. If they are gonna play around with making it more powerful and shifting it into a PC, maybe they should go all the way. Perhaps I could have explained it a little better. Having the option of say, low to ultra, as well as post processing. Older Xbox's can't push it as high as a Scorpio while maintaining a steady fps.

Again, a lot of console players just want to play with the best they can get without having to worry about it. Either way it isn't up to Microsoft it is up to the developers.

You're right. If hope that's how they handle it. It could avoid any concern about how the 1st generation Ones are holding back the Scorpio.

Edited by Psychic Donuts: 6/14/2016 10:04:38 PMIf a developer wants to they can develop for only the Scorpio but they would be cutting out the majority of Xbox gamers thus getting less sales. I would be fine with full graphics options if there was a way to say "auto choose" so I don't have to worry about it. 4k 30fps would be a good benchmark for games that do it if they do it.
