TL;DR - please see post title. So, here I am, 455 days strong after the initial Destiny launch. After a small PVP sesh or raid you can always find me in the Tower, next to the Postmaster. What am I doing there, spending so much precious time, you ask? I'm casually making what I like to call "vault decisions." I've spent more than 1000 hours playing PVP alone; over 12 weeks, 1 day, and 15 some odd hours playing Destiny in total as of this point in time. I have about 1500 motes of light per character. About 1000 or so strange coins, even after spending 1500 or more on Three of Coins. Hundreds of passage coins. So yeah, I've had a lot of time to obtain items. All of my vault compartments are maxed. Each character has 10-11 items in each weapons & armour compartment. I regularly swap 1 item out of the postmaster, decrypt it, visit the Vault, move one item back to it, go back to the postmaster, and do it again. My Vault space is so limited I've had to get rid of many of my cherished Year 1 items. RIP God roll Doctor Nope (auto rifle buff what?) Farewell double down shortgaze Final Boss. Bye bye Praetorian Foil. Unique class items and mission specific loot? Had to hold square on ya'lls. White, green, and blue items with awesome perks, stats, or style? Say "hi" to your buds in the item graveyard. Let's not even mention the new unique legendary weapon and 3 subclass class items for each class. I still haven't picked up my Boolean Gemini or about 10 (and growing) cryptarch and faction packages. For pure functionality and play, INT/DISC, INT/STR, & DISC/STR builds are useful and allow players to try new strategies and play styles. To maximise these builds, one has to have a perfect 100% for let's say DISC/STR on the Warlock. This requires a perfect set of armour - including the artifact and ghost. Not to mention the reload speed and increased ammo capacity of the gun of your choice. Then there's the new armour or damage reduction perks for each subclass. With these and other perks, the permutations are exceedingly large. I'm finding it hard to try our new builds or combinations because I've got no space. And then there's all the new content... Festival of the Lost added 18 new masks. Rad. But did I have space? No. Sparrow racing? Awesome. New gear? Cool. Destinerds are willing to support Eververse Trading Co, but we need the space and flexibility to do so. Problem? Yeah. Emblem, shader, exotic, and ship banks? Helpful, but they only treat the symptoms and not the root cause. It's sort of like a doctor continuing to prescribe morphine, when, Steve, you really should have that arm chopped off. >Bethesda knows a lot about Vaults. >Fallout 4 has seemingly unlimited space in its settlements for gear. >Destiny does not. Destinerds all over the world play this game for loot. Drops come from every single aspect of the game. If we want our Guardian to look cool on Tuesday, and use long forgotten guns on Wednesday, shouldn't we be free to do so? New content is bringing in gear that is definitely wiping out the old weapons and armour we've worked so hard to achieve from the past. Be 10/10 and give us 10 more pages of vault space. Thanks. Okay I'll settle for 3 more pages - but you see, in another few months, I'll need more. And so will other Destinerds. Destiny is a growing game. Don't give us a ceiling please. -sommiso
