Ok. Let's just severely underestimate everything right now, just for fun. From coders to testers to voice actors, let's just say that 100 people worked on Destiny. Look at credits from any modern game, and you'll see that number is drastically underestimated. Let's just say everyone made 10,000 a year working on Destiny. Once again this is a drastic underestimation, unless Bungie is a subsidiary of Walmart. 10,000 times 100? We're into the six figures now. Add the cost of utility bills for the crap ton of electronic devices used to create the game. Add the cost of leasing or owning the building where the game is made. Add the cost of digital copy distribution, and the cost of physical copy production and distribution. Add the cost of advertising. Hopefully ypu get the point by now. Now, look up the real numbers, and be amazed at how expensive it is to create a product meant to reach millions of people.

  • They must be paying the employees way too much money considering how much they are doing then. Becsuse if it cost hundreds of thousands to pump out shut content like that then I'm going work there, gonna end up being rich.

  • Your assessment of the content is subjective, entirely your opinion. I, for one, look at almost 2 years of steady play time for less than $150.00. We're just gonna have to agree to disagree.

  • You can sell a kid a stick and a rock for $150 and it will keep them entertained for a year, does it mean the stick and rock were worth $150?

Once again, you're missing the point. To one kid, that rock and stick will be the greatest thing ever, to another, a huge waste. Neither kid will give you the same answer. But, if you really have this much of an issue with Destiny, I suggest that you leave. No sense in playing something that upsets you or isn't fun to you, and it kind of looks weird to people who see someone staying with something that makes them so unhappy. Kind of like a battered housewife. If you didn't like the beatings at least a little bit, you'd probably leave. So, are you going to be a battered housewife? Or are you going to be a rational thinking human being and realize that you can leave if you are unhappy? $0 is a good price for anything, and if you don't like Destiny, nobody's going to make you buy the next DLC.

  • I'm staying just to see how good/bad it goes, although if they screw up rise of iron I'm definitely leaving for good.
