It died, everything else is just burying the ashes
-
Nope, it's still going strong. Halo 4 almost killed it but halo 5 has restored its reputation.
-
Halo 5 is just renamed cod
-
Halo is significantly different, like the fact that you don't have to pay a shit ton of money to get guns that are better than base variants.
-
True but the basis of halo 5 multiplayer is the same style as cod
-
Edited by Tiefus: 6/10/2016 1:45:48 PMNot really, there's no wall running, insane verticals, extremely potent supply drops, overly customized weapons etc. Halo 5 is bare bones halo with some thruster movement and ADS.
-
Wall running and supply drops is pretty new to cod, halo 5 just seems like a less shit advance warfare but cod none the less
-
Having played both I feel comfortable in saying that halo maintains its semi slow play style, thrusters don't give you insane momentum like in aw.
-
I can see where you are coming from, but halo seems like it's becoming more multiplayer based and the movement seems way too realistic for halos style
-
The thing about halo is it followed a very similar game archetype for so long. It makes for a good campaign but eventually you hit a dead end in multiplayer and the next game just seems like an expansion. It was only a matter of time until new elements were introduced into the franchise.

Disagree. COD is horrible. Halo 5 is the second best Halo, with Reach being #1.
-
Although I disagree with halo 5 being second, halo reach will forever be no.1
