Sleep paralysis attack

Had another sleep paralysis episode last night and it's been bothering me all day. Over the last few years I've had a few and the "things" standing around would just stare at me like I read when I researched the matter. Last night was different though, after the usual weird adventure my body seemed to take me on (floating around in a void of nothing and not being able to move or speak out), whatever was with me actually started beating me when I tried to open my eyes and sit up. Then it forced me back down and when I finally regained control of my body and "woke up" I just felt so weird about it. Any other crazy sleep paralysis stories?

  • https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis I think I found what the thing that beat you up was. Check this out. Apparently sleep paralysis often leads to hallucinations. I had no idea because I've never had sleep paralysis. Now I really don't want it.

  • Not sleep paralysis but sleep related. My sleep is now so fragmented i dont dream. To dream you have to be in a deep sleep. It takes about an hour for me to arrive in this phase. However lately i have been waking up every half an hour or so and as a result dont dream then. When i do get a solid few hours of sleep its just blank. No dreams no thoughts just darkness. It might be because i am so stressed and on the verge of depression so deliberately dont dream because i am afraid of what i will dream. What do you guys think?

    • There is no way I could stand having sleep paralysis

    • I get sleep paralysis all the time but I never hallucinate. I just concentrate on not panicking and I lightly rock back and forth until I regain control of my body and then I roll over and go back to sleep.

    • I just focus on moving one part of my body and breathing it always works for me
