In the last year and a half, us Guardians have been met with a shady figure known as Xur, an Exotic weapon and armor seller. This was just the surface of the mysterious figure who became a weekend staple for the Guardians. But despite the popularity of this character and how little we question his appearance, not much is known about the Nine beyond their agent and where they are located. This means that even though we know where they are, we are never actually told who the Nine are. What they do? Why do they need Strange Coins? Why are they so isolated and unable to give us help in taking down Oryx, especially with the vast amount of Exotic gear they have amassed and sent with one man to a foreign area of the Solar System (To the Nine).
