Wow, I'm actually surprised that you made this video. You missed the main reason most players have an issue with SBMM. If I pay $50+ for a video game, I expect it to function properly. Most online games experience lag at some point in time but the developers of those games are not directly introducing connectivity issues. By forcing SBMM, Bungie is negatively impacting the online experience for a large portion of their player base. If you don't have the proper networking infrastructure to support SBMM, don't force it....
Also, since you mentioned lower skilled players that are having a good time, what about the lower skilled players who quit because they can no longer play with their friends/relatives?
