New Vegas literally trumps every other game.. Skyrim, Oblivion, F3 and F4.. Doesn't matter.
New Vegas, imo, was perfect. Would love to play it on my 1.. for now I've got 3 and 4 though.

NV was way good, Get obsidian to design quests and story and Bethesda to make the items and maps and the game would be god tier
