May be a sore subject to some, maybe an interesting read to others.
However, I have ideas that I hope can merge the two opposing parties together into an agreeable environment.
We all know of Sliver by now. Some love it, hate it and others don't even care it's there. I'll be the first to say here, that, I really thought the Silver movement was okay to do, but to me, they didn't do it right -- especially with emotes.
Idea:
Why not make the unique (purple) emotes available by paying Silver (money)? We could then push the blue emotes to Eva Lavente at a reasonable price of 2500 glimmer. This opens up more room for emote development and may even make them worth looking at even more so.
While we're at it, let's re-do how we equip emotes? It's a rather small GUI update to the current, yet excellent, one we use today. Let's throw the idea of only being able to equip one at a time. It was a good gesture, but it's way too annoying for some to juggle them!! Let me draw out a picture for you;
Navigate like normal to your emotes. Once there, hover over the emotes to open up the rest. Highlight the emote you want to equip, but don't press "X/A"!! Instead, press the directional button you'd like to assign that emote to. Want a dance assigned to your wave emote? Just press "UP" on the D-pad with your dance move selected. Super easy, super simple.
Implementing these two major, yet very simple changes would make the whole "emoting" thing way easier and a little more amusing. In turn, Bungie would then be able to make different sitting options and waving gestures!
So what do you think, Guardians? Would you guys like to see this implemented?
