Warlock Sword Dash
So I discovered recently that you can do a mid air dash as a warlock using an exotic sword but I've not tested it with a legendary sword.
I have tested it using my dark drinker on both my titan and hunter, it doesn't work.
I also haven't tested it with the other two exotic swords, if you jump then press RB/R1 then immediately press A/X after you will dash in your current direction at high speed and it's very good to cover a lot of ground quickly.
Is this commonly known? I've not seen it mentioned anywhere and I've had a good search.
To pre-empt any disbelief I can upload a clip of me doing this when I get home from work.

It works with any sword and you don't even need ammo for it. It also works with the Crota sword and the relic from vault of glass

1 ReplyMeh. Just tried it. It gives you the little boost that you normally get from using the sword followed by the effect from the second jump press. If you have Focused Burst selected you get that little boost of speed, you Blink forward if you have that selected. It does speed you up a little...by the amount that the sword swing gives you... but not really worth using your heavy ammo.
