I think maybe it should use your melee charge (after all it is a one shot melee) but otherwise I don't have many problems with it

If it used a melee it would have to be moved to melee column. Which would allow me to run juggernaut AND shoulder charge at same time. Oh the tears would flow...

I think you shouldn't be able to run around one shot melee ing and regenerating health is I little unfair so it should use a melee charge

It's a melee attack whether it's in the melee Column or not that doesn't change the fact that it is a melee

It's not a melee column skill. It's the special ability column skill. That's like saying that shadestep is a jump.

The game considers arc blade a melee attack, that's why brawler affects it. Do you think arc blade should only one shot of blink strike is charged?

Pretty shitty argument. Arc Blade is a super. Different from an ability. Not saying SC should use up a charge, but it's a melee.

Shoulder Charge is listed as a melee in the PvP kill feed, and is affected by Brawler in PvE, along with being counted for bounties. Now, I've given facts, and you've given nothing. Yet I'm not the one saying it should use up a charge. This argument is basically over.

Arc blade is affected by brawler, do you consider that melee as well? Shoulder charge is an ability listed in the same row of skills as shadestep, juggernaut, etc. That's why it's an ability, not a melee. How's that for facts?

Doesn't mean it can't be two things. The game itself tells you that SC and Arc Blade are Melees through bounties and the Brawler modifier, it does not require critical thinking to think that something can be considered a melee and an ability/super. Fact is fact. Arc Blade is considered a melee and a super. A melee super, which is exactly what it is. Shoulder Charge is a melee with more than enough evidence. It is also an ability as it is special and requires a perk to unlock it. How's that for facts and logic? You're literally arguing that it's a punch, and I'm saying that it doesn't fit with normal punch ability *cough*storm fist*cough*. It makes no sense for it to use melee charge, and to be treated like normal melee.

A special melee ability. Which is exactly what it is. That's why it appears as a melee symbol in Crucible, and is affected by brawler. As with arc blade. It is a melee super. It is still a super but uses melee aspects. Hence, it's counted by Brawler. [b]It doesn't have to be under the melee tree to have melee aspects and be considered a melee in some way.[/b] Yes, I've already stated that I do not think it should take up a charge because it is not an extension of Storm Fist.. And then you only get ~5 second window to use the attack. As I said before, it's a special ability that requires charging and a limited window to use it.

To use a one shot melee ability in 5 seconds is not hard

Spec for full strength and you'll have your one shot back stab up every 30 sec that doesn't require you to sprint.

Except since the game came out backstab perk has been broken and activates all over.

That's a glitch. The game doesn't intend for it to be that way. On the contrary, shoulder charge is working as intended and competes with backstab easily.
