Hi all,
So after spending countless hours online being confused as shit by the literal myriad of weird, crazy and just plain idiotic Gamertags I see daily while playing Destiny, I decided to round up some mates and attempt to shed light on some of the more perplexing efforts.
In this ongoing series, I will be reviewing Gamertags, attempting to decipher who, what or why someone would create them to begin with, and generally having a laugh with my mates.

You can hit me up on Twitch or Twitter with future suggestions, or just witness the slow motion car crash that seems to be both my Youtube and Twitch channels.

I wrote an article once on what makes a gamer tag 'good.' It was very fun to write, but it was also pretty well received. It basically just put into words what most people would think obvious: tags, numbers, alternating caps, X and Z characters by themselves, all those sorts of things making a gamer tag less respectible. Yeah I know everybody has a reason why their use of numbers and the likes is the exception so I get eaten alive everyone by those folks, but it's still a pretty safe general rule.
