This first bit is important! I'm going to define free speech so that everybody knows the boundaries of discussion.
Free speech includes any and all speech, writing, or other medium of communication. It does not include speech that deliberately and immediately endangers the rights of others. It does not include libel or slander.
Anything else is fair game! Hate speech is included.
What are your thoughts on free speech? Libertarians are strong advocates of free speech, and we oppose state censorship. We also make a distinction between state censorship and private censorship. For example, Bungie can remove anything from these forums, and it's justified to a degree. The state cannot (provided your rights are protected) silence speech like that.

3 RepliesI support property rights and thus by extension free speech. If one is in a public area, an area on is the sole or co owner of, or in an area where one is given express permission by the owner or a representative of the owner then one is allowed to say and do as they wish so long as it does not infringe on the rights of others to do the same.
